Compares with supermarket steaks
At first when I opened it I was disappointed that it had no marbling. I expected it to be dryer and less tastier. Although if it had marbling it would have been way better, it was still good. For £3.35 for a 250g steak I think it's worth it. It compares with supermarket steaks such as ones you would get from Tesco or Morrison but cheaper. Perhaps it won't be the most amazing steak you'll definitely clean the plate.

Absolutely brilliant for the price - loved it
I really liked it. It's a flat iron steak so you should cook it carefully. I personally do not like rare meat so you might think this would have turned out hard and chewy but it did not. I did tenderise it lightly before cooking. After it was 80% cooked (frying pan) I removed it and scored both horizontally and vertically and shoved it back on for a further 90secs. So it was easy to cut and chew. Worth leaving it to rest I think. Absolutely no issues with it.Flavour was good (I used a standard steak shake from supermarket half way through cooking also). Obviously if I wanted a really great tasting steak I would buy Sirloin but it would cost 3 or 4 times as much. This was £3 which is amazing. It will feed one adult. Not sure how this would be on a BBQ - interested to know because at this price it would be a nice change from sausages and burgers.Absolutely brilliant for the price

Delicious
Have bought these several times. My husband loves steak and these have always been top quality and delicious. Even when I have frozen one, the quality is still great. Perfect texture and taste, similar t a very good sirloin. Excellent buy.

chewy like hell. avoid
Ok, it's cheap, but it's probably the worst steak I've ever had in my entire life. It's chewy beyond belief, my head hurt from the constant effort to chew through its horrible consistency. I've tried many Flat iron steaks from other brands before and they were all delicious; this is the first one I really find disappointing; it's also thin as a piece of paper (that makes it cooking it with a heat thermometer basically impossible). Pls do yourself a favour and avoid at all cost.
