The perfect replacement for a Gaggia Titanium
8 or 9 years ago, I had my coffee life figured out: Mr Coffee + thermos carafe = bliss. Turns out, I was wrong about that. I'd been granted hints - every 2 years or so, either the heating element or the electronics would fail, and I'd get another identical Mr Coffee at Tarjay Boutique. One day, a big box shows up on the doorstep. Its an $1100 superautomatic espresso machine from Seattle & I was flabbergasted. What possible Real Life use for something like that is there? My wife bought it. She's moved on, but when we divvied up the goods, I gave her the big screen TV & kept the ridiculous espresso-maker. Why TF would I do that? Cuz it made the highest quality long coffees imagineable. And eventually, it died, cuz it had to, eventually.Ridiculous takes on a different meaning 23 thousand cups later (23063 to be exact). Do the math, it turns out to be less that 5 cents a cup. So I didn't want to replace it with just any random superautomatic, but I WAS NOT going back to Joe Dimaggio's dripper (though I keep the one from 8 years ago (and a grinder) on standby in case this all blows up).Which brings me to the first problem. Some time shortly after we got the Gaggia, Gaggia got bought by Phillips. Phillips already owned Saeco, a competitor in the superautomatic realm. Product support was thrown into chaos for American buyers of the product, it basically was non-existent. Turns out, it was more important to just make my freakin' coffee every day than to worry about brewing "without a net"When Silvia died (yes, I called my coffeemaker Silvia - IT WAS SILVER, AND A FREAKIN' COFFEEMAKER, WHAT ELSE WOULD I CALL IT), I was confronted with a dilemma. Gaggia & Saeco had multiple product lines (built on common platforms) & within each line there were often several "trim levels". Which was most compatible with what I'd grown used to?The Gaggia alternatives did not include the full functionality (or too much) I was looking for, but they were from a vendor I had no experience with. One of the Saeco alternatives (this one) seemed to be a bulls-eye, and it was from the same vendor we got the Gaggia from, lo those many years ago. Turns out the internals are basically identical to my old Titanium, but rotated. I actually had a problem getting this thing going, it didn't prime initially. And a couple of phone calls to Seattle Coffee Gear (in which I spoke to a human being within a minute) got it all squared away. Hint: if it doesn't prime, find a turkey baster first, then call, and prepare to be happy. This is a product that at one point I was pretty sure didn't deserve to exist.Amazing coffee made me wrong about that.Seattle Coffee Gear support makes the difference if you're pondering identical Saeco & Gaggia models at different price points.

Great Saeco espresso machine but will return
We have been using Saeco espresso machines for more than 10 years and when I was deciding on what machine to buy in my new apartment - I thought only about Saeco. So it has everything what we need - makes strong cappuccino without any need of sophisticated maintenance.I have tested it for 1 day and it works great - we’ll see how it goes! The only reason why I gave 4 stars is that delivery almost dropped it in front of my door.Upd - coffee gets stuck in the machine and it stops making it. Tried couple of times and continued using my old machine. Will be returning.

Saeco expresso machines still the BEST!
Great product, versatile with good quality expresso for the price! Comes with a water filter and the 5000 cups descailer is reassuring! Dual coffee hopper:beans & grinded, system “wash” before each use and self turn off are very welcomed improvments from previous Saeco expresso machines owned! Relatively easy to install...especially if it’s not your 1st rodeo! Highly recommending this product, distributed by Seattle Coffee Gear via AMZN! I reached out to them for faster delivery, since item was not A Prime eligible and Steven @ Customer Service went out of his way to ship it same day! Best experience ever!

Sensor says no beans; will not brew
I owned a Saeco Incanto Sirius for years and loved it. When it was time to replace it, I ordered the Saeco Incanto Plus. Straight out of the box it was useless. The sensor keeps saying there are no beans, but it grinds them anyway, then dumps them into the dregs container without brewing coffee. I followed the instructions on cleaning the grinder area as well as the pre-ground bypass chute. I ended up going through a pound of espresso beans. Fortunately, I was able to return it with shipping covered. I have since purchased a Delonghi model with similar features that works fine.

Well made and easy to use and maintain
Makes good Expresso or Long Expressos. I typically tap the expresso twice, for a double. I did try the steam wand, and it works well. Mainly use for expresso. For Latte, i prefer to put almond/soy milk in the coffee cup, microwave for 20-30s, then let the double expresso fill on top of it. Easier, no mess, and dont need to clean the wand. But it will certainly properly foam your cappucino if you are less lazy than me in the very early morning. I really am glad I bought this machine, and sorry i waited so long.

Nothing more to ask for - and reliably great.
Works great - has all the features you need: grinder selection, strength, temperature, adjustable water volume, adjustable temperature, auto-rinse. Hasn’t missed a shot. Senses when grinds and water are low. Great crema. Coffee so strong (but not bitter) we actually started drinking Luongo.

Directions are awful
I cannot honestly say it makes a good cup of joe or not, as the directions were awful and couldn't figure it out but the really really thing I hated is that the reservoir for the water is under the machine, SO if you are not careful pulling it out you have water everywhere. I have a Saeco Odea and we have been happy with it even though it is a bit tempormental, but after 6 years we have learned to live with it. So we'll just keep living with it. I rely on reviews a lot when making a big purchase and this one had 5 stars, but in my estimation it should not have had. If the instructions were written better, we may have considered putting up with the awful discharge water situation.

super little system
Makes a great espresso. I use mine every morning, and have had it now for 6 months without issue. The convenience is excellent. My recommendation is to watch the you tube videos on how to operate, clean and maintain...well designed and very simple. Pleased with the product.
