Andy Pandy: Charming Stories [DVD]

I bought this dvd for my grandchild who is six years old and she loves it. My own children loved watching Andy Pandy long ago in the seventies and I knew my latest grandchild would also love this dvd. I was proved right. So many thanks for giving her so much enjoyment and telling her that her Daddy used to watch this programme thrilled her.

Bought to entertain 2 year old grandson. He loves it and watches it all of the time. From order to delivery was so simple and effective. I try to use Amazon for all similar orders because I have found the availability, service and value always perfect. That was what I was looking for and what I achieved.

I was part of the original Andy Pandy generation (every Tuesday on Watch with Mother). I later learned that they only made 26 total episodes of the original, and then repeated them ceaselessly for twenty years. That was then. This is now. We now have a new Andy Pandy. Andy and Teddy are much as they were - Andy thoughtful, and Teddy somewhat impulsive. Looby Loo however is quite changed. In the original she only moved around when T and AP were not around. In this version she is a full participant providing sensible big sister style behaviour. Some slightly suspect gender-stereotyping (she is always baking cakes, has indigestion pills, and a sewing kit in her bag).Other characters quite fun too (a ball, a dog, a snake and a sailor).Anyway my 2 year old thinks it is fine. So do my older children (9 and 13) who consider it to be quite retro (interesting what they put out for this age group).

This DV played well just like it did for my children now my great grandchildern can enjoy it!

Lovely dvd with a great selection of stories. Totally recommended for children and adults who love Andy Pandy. A lovely gentle series which is perfect for young children.

Piece of turd! A copy of an awful qualtiy DVD.The person who had the audacity to sell this has no scruples and as I had it shipped to U.S just wasn't worth shipping back.Hope this seller goes out of business for selling such garbage quality!!

Well, it's abig improvement on the old puppets. Good for younger children. Our daughter love it when she was 2 or 3 years old, and still occassionally wants to see it, but there's so much Charlie and Lola, Fifi and the flower Tots and Shaun teh sheep to watch that poor old Andy Pandy can't compete. Good for the young'uns. Harmless and short

Bought this for my daughter but the quality of the disc means sometimes they "stick" in the middle of a program. I am trying to clean them to see if it sorts it out
