UL poncho
This does what I need it to with the first test it seems like it will work well. I haven't put it on over my pack yet but with a rain kilt it's a much lighter, easier to put on and take off, and smaller than a frogg togg set, and will never wet out and soak through like expensive rain jackets will.

Great rain poncho and tarp
This poncho survived the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island without a scratch. Incredibly durable, even after a little bushwhacking and being used as a tarp. I just bought one for my buddy who’s cheaper tarp got destroyed on this trail. Two thumbs up.

Not good for wearing over larger packs, but lightweight and stows small
This packs down very small; it’s very slippery material, so I was worried it would be impossible to get back in its bag, but it’s not too hard to do. I got this for using on the Camino; I’m glad I didn’t need it on more days though. I wore it with an Osprey Aura AG 50L backpack, and it’s just not big enough for that - my sleeves ended up totally exposed, and I got very wet (and it was 38F/3C so I was freezing too). Later I tried wearing it under the pack, but my sleeves were still exposed. For brief showers with a smaller day pack it’s probably fine, but I’d opt for something else in the future.

Poor quality -- hood sewn on crooked
The hood was sewn on crooked -- about 45% to the left -- so I was really unwearable, especially for the price.I returned it for a refund.

Amazingly small
Smallest rain gear I've ever seen (see pic). For comparison my similar walmart poncho is twice this big.Hood is very well shaped for sight, can see to the sides clearly. This is a great "it shouldn't rain but I'll bring it just in case" poncho. It's one drawback though is that the hood is small and has no venting, causing that "your head is going to get wet from sweating even though you're protected from the rain" problem. Wish the hood was bigger and had some sort of airflow through it.

Too short for tall people.
This thing only goes down a little past my waist making it no better than a rain jacket. I wanted something to pack when rain was not in the forecast just in case, and that could cover my pack and double as a tarp etc.. This is defiantly very packable and light, but it is not good as a poncho. I should state I am over 6' tall and broad shouldered, so if you are little this thing might work great for you.

Also auch keine Allerweltslösung.
