I trust my feet in these!
I love these boots. Love, love, love them.I underwent ankle surgery following a motorcycle accident last year(what a doozy! I was going through a green light in broad daylight, and a car driver made an illegal turn and hit me), and after being uprooted shortly thereafter and unable to go through formal physical therapy...I have been uneasy on my feet, to say the least. I have nerve damage in that foot from the accident, and cold weather tends to make the nerve pain flare up, but I live in the American northeast, so this girl's gotta stay cozy. But after a while, I thought, I need to start hiking again. It's the best stress reliever I know, and I got sick of telling myself I couldn't and stopping myself before I even tried. I looked around for something comfortable and high-quality, with good ankle support. These seemed to fit that bill.I wore them walking my dog at first to break them in; we walk 3-4 miles every day after I finish work. The shoe did rub the inside of my right heel a little raw at first but it quickly went away. I wore them on short hikes around a couple of state parks before testing them on a mountain.I wore these to hike Camel's Hump a few weeks ago, the third-highest mountain in Vermont(7-mile round trip, between 4 and 5 hours). It was chilly and muddy and frosty, and there was some mild rock scrambling to do. There were shallow streams to cross and my feet stayed dry, warm, and comfortable throughout. Most importantly, I felt super steady! Awesome boots.

Too narrow, even after ordering a half size up.
I liked the look of these and KEEN is always quality at a cost price. I ordered these based on some reviews read online about how they fit good for people with wide feet. Unfortunately, they were to narrow for me, even after ordering a size up. They hurt. Disappointing as I really wanted these Keen Gypsum II to work after the reviews I read about them. Ended up ordering a pair of Propet Ridge Walkers to try out on my next camping/hiking trip. However, this is not a reflection on KEEN or its quality boots. I like my Keen work boots. Just wish Amazon offered these boots in wider sizes. So I subtactes one star for fit and sent them back.

bought to replace my first-generation Gypsums which were fantastic but the soles wore out
Seem to be decent, bought to replace my first-generation Gypsums which were fantastic but the soles wore out. These seem to be a nice "upgrade" with metal eyehooks and better ventilation but I have doubts that the soles will hold out any longer than the previous 4 pairs of Keens I've owned. The soles wear out WAY before the boots do, Keen really needs to address this as it sucks buying boots every other year because the soles are worn but the rest of the boot is in great shape.I wear these inside 80% of the time and outside the rest and they're already showing wear on the sole after just a few weeks. Keens are really the only boot that fits my feet well though so I guess I have to accept the fact that they must like their products being thrown out after a year or so. Overall I like 'em, just wish they'd address the wear issue.

Solid pair of boots
Right out of the box they're a bit stiff and need to be broken in. But not unexpected for a good pair of boots. I originally got a 1/2 size bigger than my shoe size, but had to return for my normal size. I like Keene because of the wider foot, however I have a bit of heel lift in these boots. Hoping that improves as they break in. Overall a good moderate-duty boot. Excited to take them out in the snowy trails.EDIT: I've worn these boots all throughout the winter, and they have been awesome. After wearing them a few times they broke in perfectly, and the heel lift is completely gone now, even when I'm just wearing normal socks with them and not thick hiking socks. Very warm in the snow with proper socks, and not too hot when wearing in doors or when its nice out. The waterproofing works very well. I've been shoveling in deep snow for 6 hours, and I've walked through 4 inch deep streams with out any problems at all. Also very comfortable to be wearing all day.

Mostly good
Because of the nature of my job, I wear these almost every day.Very comfy, with a roomy toe box. The leather and fabric has held up well. They are very waterproof, despite not being genuine Gortex.I'm not thrilled with a couple of things, though. Two of the eyelets have broken (one on each shoe), so I can no longer lace the shoes all the way to the top. And rubber at the top ofthe sole near my big right toe is starting to separate from the shoe. It hasn't yet become a major problem and the waterproof inner boot hasn't been comprised – yet.I've had these about a year and a half, but I thought they would stand up a little longer, even under heavy wear.I'd give these a 5 for comfort and waterproof-ness. Only a 3 for durability.

Tough and Comfortable For Their Entire Life
Owned for four hard years as a Scoutmaster. Hiking, canoeing, cold and hot weather camping and they alway met my expectations. Never a failed lace, lace clip, or unglued tread. Maintained their comfort until I literally wore the tread off. Well worth the purchase price.

So Comfortable I forgot I was weraing new boots.
I started wearing Gypsum Mid in construction work a few years ago and always found them very comfortable and hard wearing boot.My local store didn't have my size in stock about 6 months ago and talked me into buying Keen Koven instead - BIG MISTAKE! the Koven are nowhere near as comfortable and barely lasted 6 months. These Gypsum Mid II arrived last week and I have worn them every day to work since. The highest praise I can give them is that when people asked me "how are your new boots?", I replied that I had actually forgotten I was wearing new boots. They really do fit my feet so comfortably that I don't even know I'm wearing them. I'm a bricklayer on my feet 8 or 9 hours a day walking on various surfaces from mud and clay through to concrete, gravel and scaffolding.I cannot recommend the Keen Gypsum Mid II highly enough.

Awesome Boots
These are great boots! They fit as expected, and are incredibly comfortable. have been wearing them out in the snow and my feet stay nice and dry and warm. only had them for a month or 2, so i can't speak to how well they'll hold up. but haven't had any issues yet

New Keen Boots.
Bought these to replace my Merrel Annex boots ehich have been excellent but are now worn out after 2 years. The keens are more of a proper walking boot than the Merrels so not really a more casual boot for every day wear.I wore the Merrels everywhere.Bought 9.5 size as reviews recommend half size bigger. They are a wide fit and a little big could have gotten away with my usual 9. Only used a couple of times for dog walking but they appear waterproof and comfy time and weather will tell.

Comfortable boots, but not good on soft wet ground
Straight on to your feet comfort. Wide box area for your toes.I worn these in Spain and hiked 200 k in them and the soles did not take the wear very well. Also when walking so wet ground (mud) my feet tender to slip and did give me much grip.

One Boot To Rule Them All!!
After substantial research and hours of YouTube comparison, I had zoned in on two hiking boots attributes. Keen as a brand and Gypsum 2 mid as a go to boot. The price was just about right for a boot of such great appreciation but I did not consider the import duty and handling charges. This makes it an expensive product for purchase in india imported from the US.The delivery though was two days ahead of schedule which was a huge surprise but a good one!!The Keen Gypsum 2 mid is an out of the world boot on build, quality, lightness and phenomenal comfort. Waterproof too. It's like sneakers on steroids!!! I'm going to relish this for a long time.Highly recommended. I have actually tried competitive products at stores in Bangalore but nothing compares.Thank you Amazon.in and a huge thanks to Keen!! My sister owns 2 pairs already!!Can't wait to get to Nepal and Tibet in these!!

Great but expected better
Great every day Shoes, easy slip on and great fit, stylish as well, however shoes are not water proof, more like water repellent and resistant. If you hike on snow that can sit on top of the shoe, it will wet the part where your toes are. Shoes do absorb water from over a couple hours. Took them on my first winter hike and though great overall, I do suggest you wear some wool socks. You will need them, also bring a change bc they will get wet eventually. And this isn't from the laces. It'd from the toes. Paired with wool socks they make a strong combo however it will eventually get in. Amazing comfort and fit otherwise.
