This is a review of the Peak Design Packable Tote With Zipper. Overall, I rate it a 4.8 out of 5.0 stars. I appreciate this tote so much that 5 were purchased in total.Likes:1. Packs tiny and compact. Definitely on the smaller side, though there are some that pack smaller, though those ten to be more fragile in my experience.2. The materials and build appear to be of quality. No complaints for me whatsoever in this regard.3. The tote is not too big when expanded. It is more like the size of a pretty big handbag, but not too big like a gym bag.4. It has a full zipper to protect your items from falling out.5. It has a comfortable single strap, which I prefer. There have been many times when I have been walking with other reuseable grocery bags with two straps and one or both sides slips off, and you have to regroup, or even have to pick up stuff that fell out of the bag due to no zipper. This strap seems to stay in put better than most.6. Lifetime warranty.Considerations:1. Some have complained about the strap being short. Yes it is, and this can be a problem if you have bigger/thicker arms as it is a tight fit. Also, if you have a bulky item such as a box to put in, the strap can be a limiting factor (hard to explain this without a picture). However, it has only affected me once when I was trying to stuff a boxed item that was testing the bag’s limits.2. The fabric is fairly thin, definitely not some 1680 ballistic nylon. Thus, items inside the bag can feel like edges of a hard container can poke you (say you had an USPS Small Box that was at an angle in the bag and that was pushing against your ribs). Most packable bags would have this issue as well, just something to note.Nothing else in this category that I could find is as packable, has a full zipper, has a single padded strap, has a lifetime warranty, and has such nice build quality. I would give it a perfect rating if the strap was just a little bit longer.

Well, I’ll sit there and tell you that this bag is pretty good. It’s very strong and sturdy and I feel safe packing it to the brim and the zipper is damn strong.I got tired of bringing my book bag and duffel bag to the gym and back since I didn’t need that much stuff and both of them are cumbersome so I figured this tote would be perfect for going over a friends house for the night, going to the gym or even bringing it to work.It’s actually pretty perfect for all of those. It holds all of my belongings and it’s nice and strong and I don’t feel like I have to worry about it ripping. I also really like how it folds up into a perfect tiny little pouch. It has to be the best part because folding it up and throwing it in there and locking it in place takes less than five seconds. This, to me, is perfect when traveling. If I’m going somewhere and I want to bring a couple of extra tote bags with me these, once folded up it takes no space up and I can latch it onto a book bag since it has a little hook once it’s wrapped up. That has to be the best part about this bag and that’s why I’ll be keeping it and using it.My only issue is that the strap is pretty short and when I put it on my shoulder it looks like I’m wearing a purse. Obviously, I’m a guy in looks weird but whatever. I can also carry it by the handle which is also totally fine.All in all I recommend this bag. For the price you’re getting quality and peak design stand by their product. It’s good for light travel, going to the store, going to work etc. i

Love how small this folds into itself and closes with a snap button. You can just throw it in a backpack and forget about it since it's so lightweight, too. The moment you need an extra bag, you just take it out, unsnap the button, and unfold it. It looks great, works great, has a nice capacity, and so far it's durable - have had it for a long time and have used it a lot. Some reviews have complained about the strap being thin, but this is not supposed to be used to carry a ton of weight. If the strap were thicker I think that would affect how compact it would fold into itself. An easy 5 stars in my opinion.

You’re basically paying for the materials rather than designFabric is the same as their packing cubes (best packing cubes out there in my opinion, just don’t get the ultralight version)More of a high quality shopping bag than a substitute purse or everyday carry bagAside from the small pocket that self-stores itself after use, its just one large dump pocketSmall pocket will not fit Pro, Ultra, Max, Pro Max, XL, or Plus sized phones. Not sure what the purpose is as it cannot be used when the bag self store itself (unless you plan to carry it around open all the time)Self storing the bag is easy, just scrunch it up and stuff it in the small pocket and clip the buttons together.Does have some volume and not flat when packed into itself, but very lightweight with a loop to hook it onto something with a carabiner (not included)Large dump pocket works well for grocery shopping. Not sure about the weight capacity, but hold 18 standard soda cans no problem. Tried putting a large watermelon inside and the it won’t fit the bag’s opening.
