Packable Extra Large Brim Floppy Sun Hat Reversible UPF 50+ Beach Sun Bucket Hat

It's nice when you find a gem of a deal like this one on Amazon that ends up exceeding expectations. I wanted to find a portable sunhat that I could roll up, tuck in my bag, shove in the beach bag, maybe forget about it in the minivan for a few months and bust it out on those as needed moments. I'm not a hat person except when I need to be and when I need to be... I go EXTRA.Extra, this hat is. It's amazing.Honestly, the material is of higher quality than I expected for the price point. It's durable. The stitch work is solid. I, apparently, missed the part in the descriptions and pictures where it was stated that this is a hat inside another hat. It's, as a friend of mine said, hatception!! Brilliant. It can be an adorable bucket hat or a fancy giant (hide your babies sized) sun hat. The buttons, as you may see in my pictures, can withstand some abuse and are sewn on solid. The brims on the inner and outer hats are wired so these hats can become anything you can imagine. I like the bendy parts of the brims so if I get bored I basically have a toy and a hat all in one. Bonus.Taco hat? Salad bowl? Flower? The possibilities are endless, truly.I may have become a hat person because of this hat.

I particularly bought the hat to wear to Disney World because I have rosacea that is often triggered by direct sun. The hat was perfect! Not only did it keep my face protected but also the back of my neck. I love the wire in the outer edge to mold it however I wanted. I've posted pictures of us at Disney with the hat on and have had many compliments on it.

I have Rosecia which mean the sun is my worst enemy. This hat is perfect to cover the sun around you. Was surprised at the quality and is reversible, you can use either black or polka dots, also you can detach the outer brim to make it smaller. I believe the material is also waterproof. Overall wow amazed with it

Absolutely the best convertible hat I've ever had! Well made and great fabric on both sides. The outside is a little move satiny than i expected and VERY LIGHT COLOR, more of a cream or off white than khaki or beige. But the printed fabric is more of a cotton canvas and the colors really pop! Great mix of bright summer color.The design of the hat has beautiful buttons that offer a flush fit to go from fishing hat/safari size to a great beach or gardening size that will cover face, neck and shoulders unless you're a giraffe!It is pack-able/fold-able but be aware that both brims have a stiff wire form inside the fabric. It does bend but had to be molded to shape you want.

What the ad doesn't tell you (to be fair, maybe i just didn't see it) is that the brim is held out by a wire. So one has to shape the hat, and then reshape and reshape ad infinitum. It is still a great price for the smaller hat that rests inside the larger brim, but the larger brim's wire issue makes this product a bothersome one.

I read reviews saying they had a big nogen and I figured, ok let me try it, it could be bigger, however I wore it to a birthday party at a park and it was windy and that rip cord arpund my neck was magical, I felt like Marry Popping! Love it! It is very thick material, so you know it will keep the UV Rays at bay. It is somewhat warm on a hot day, so sometimes, I just wear the brim, and bring my hair through to keep it on. Also if it it a very windy day, just roll up the back side of the brim and it reduces the resistance level.Didn't come with the neck string, but the seller had wonderful response to send me a replacement. They are great to work with!

I have a large head--slightly above average. Most of the time, I'm worried that hats will be too small.Who can wear this hat?The brim is floppy as advertised, but not moldable. I tried to mold it into the position in the stock photo, but it wasn't possible. I struggled to take a picture that included my chin, so that you can see how big this hat is.The material is sturdy/heavy. The color is accurate. The size is ridiculous.

It's been invaluable - my wife was diagnosed with Lupus and UV protection is very important - especially with the good summer we are having here in the UK. The optional under-chin strap is perfect to keep it on at the beach with the occasional sea breeze! Reversable option is also a good idea!

Very well made and versatile hat. Reduced 1 star because a bit tight on my big head! Shoud stop it blowing off by the coast though.Is essentially a small brimmed hat with a larger button on brim, both of which are reversible. There are cheaper hats but not as many changes to ring!

I like this hat- you can bend the edges down to keep the sun out of your eyes and the brim is very large providing better protection from the sun. You can also detach the extra wide brim to make it into a smaller hat.I have a massive head so it's a little tight on me but I imagine it is fine for most medium-large heads!

Enjoying this hat. Good size for large ladies head size 7 love the wire brim can control angle of brim on smaller hat. Used for golf in sunny country. Binned the extra large detachable brim too cumbersome to use

Great for shielding from the sun. The bowl of the hat is quite shallow and will blow off the head easily, so the chin strap comes in useful. Can be packed flat and small but the wire needs time reshaping.
