I love this paper. Great for drawing....and if I feel like adding a bit of color with water soluble pencils, it's great for that too.

Very high paper quality
As a professional artist, I am extremely picky about my supplies. This Sketch Book is EXCELLENT and I would recommend it to all of my students and fellow artists. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and will purchase more!

Great for drawing utensils
After using several different mediums on this paper, I would suggest sticking to calligraphy, charcoal, and pencil drawings. It is capable to be painted on, however the paper doesn't hold the shape you would like and tends to curl up. For the price, it's a good quality drawing pad and great for practicing techniques with painting!

Is there a greater pleasure than dragging a thick marker tip across a thick sheet of paper? Probably, but this sensation is up there in my top 50 favorite feelings, especially with this sketchpad. My latest round of pen and marker experimental sketches have worked really well with this pad.
