Great puzzly game without being too hard... just good, innocent fun!
I was able to play this on my Windows XP computer (a dinosaur by today's standards.) I had played it YEARS ago when it came in a package along with the Byzantine game by Discovery. It is a little short, a little simplistic, but very, very nice for a family play. My kids are very much enjoying playing it with me and figuring out all the puzzles etc...If you are fan of the Her Interactive Nancy Drew series then I definitely suggest this game in between. Yes, it's a little dated, but the gameplay is good and it's educational to par, so it's a hit all around. You NEED an older computer to play it, you can't get it to run on Windows 10.

AWESOME!!!
Firstly, let me start off by saying that if you liked the tv show this game is based on, you'll love this game. Secondly, if you haven't seen the tv show that this game is based on, you definitely need to. There are three of them. The first one was called Connections and was broadcast on the BBC in 1978. The second one was called Connections 2 and the other, Connections 3. Thirdly, this game is AWESOME!!! I also suggest this game to anyone who likes puzzle games and has a PC/MAC. If you play this game and you don't like it, then you're not of this Earth.

Great old game
I played this game years ago when Win 95 was popular.I tried playing it on Win XP Home in compatability modeand it would work ok until I would solve the puzzles, but then it would stall. It probably would play well if I had a partition with Win 95 on it separate from Win XP, so maybe I will be able to do that later. Great game! Wish there were more good, clean games like it today.

This is a thinking game, and it is awesome, but.....
Why have they not produced a similar game for XP, or Vista, or the new Windows 7? I absolutely loved playing the game and figuring out the concepts they introduced, like steam engines, and other basics. When I upgraded my computer to XP, I was no longer able to install the game, and that was sickening. Why can't they make Connections for XP?

Tests Your Problem Solving Skills Before It`s Even Installed
This is an older PC/Mac game and will not run natively under any O/S more recent than Windows 95. I bought the game knowing this, and I was able to get it to run under Windows 3.1 which, in turn was running under DOSBox on my Windows 7 PC. Even then, I had to install an older version of Apple's QuickTime movie player to get the videos to play. If you're comfortable with emulators and not averse to a bit of tinkering and tweaking, or if you have an older PC kicking around, you should be able to use this product. Those with newer PCs looking for a ``Drop in the disc and play`` experience are well advised to look elsewhere. The game itself is very engaging, being based on James Burke`s ``Connections`` TV series; in fact, much of the video is taken directly from that series. It combines logic puzzles and fact finding to achieve its goal. Recommended for those looking for entertainment that stimulates the mind.
