Flew across the country and back with my 6 year old and it did just fine. Fit nicely under even the aisle seat on Southwest (which was a smaller space). My daughter loves how it looks. She also uses it for sleepovers at relatives and it seems to be holding up just fine.

The bag is great!! It looks just like the picture. Its sturdy. Very easy to handle. Very spacious!! Durable!! Just what i was looking for👍

The backpack is beautiful. I bought a 16" one for my 8 y/o niece. She loves it! It is beautiful, looks sturdy, has a lot of pockets and a cover for wheels. It is easy to roll it on the floor and outside. However, it is not that easy to pull it on stairs (despite "climbing" wheels), so she needs to carry it on. It is a bit heavy for her. We also faced a problem with the handle. Our nanny pushed the handle down harshly, and now we cannot pull it up until press the button in the lower part of the handle, under the zippered cover. So please be careful.Otherwise, it is a good purchase, I recommend.

I am 5'0" and have been searching for a small roller bag, but all the other child-size bags are decorated with unicorns, spaceships, etc. This is perfect for an everyday commuter bag if you are 5'0" or shorter. Fits my laptop, papers, lunch, a sweater, phone, etc., and has side pockets for water bottles. It's replacing one from the same manufacturer that's decorated with flamingos, that is still in great shape after a year of daily use. Thanks Tilami for offering this bag in black!

One of the bolts came out do the wheels are detached and it won’t screw back in…. my daughter has been using it for 2 months barely…So low on durability and quality

Loved the larger version of this backpack so much that we bought the smaller one for our younger child.So far so good, have had this for about 1/2 of a school year and it’s held up very well with daily shuffling around and shows no signs of wear. We plan to use it again for the new school year.Large zippered compartment is large enough to hold a lunch bag, folders, kid’s sweater, and all sorts of “projects” that get sent home from school (we are not in a position where we need to transport things like Chromebooks/laptops, textbooks, or equipment just yet, but a Chromebook or small laptop plus lunch bag and kid sweater would fit just fine.) Front zippered pocket large enough to store things like chap stick, travel tissues, pencil cases, etc.The telescoping handle is sturdy and extends/retracts smoothly and easily, and the height can be customized for younger kids. The wheels are sturdy and robust and has had no issue rolling over any surface we’ve come across. The only issue is that the fabric handle at the top of the bag feels a little iffy- not sure how sturdy it is and whether it’s reinforced enough to withstand carrying a fully loaded backpack by this fabric handle on a frequent basis. I personally prefer to carry it by its retracted telescoping handle, which feels much sturdier.
