I'm constantly amazed by the results I get with this macro lens. It's opened up a whole new world of photographic opportunities, allowing me to capture the beauty of tiny details that I would have otherwise missed. Good value for money
This lense is compatible with my samsung and is pretty much easy to install or adjust. Makes close up shots, higher quality and more clear and sharper. Really nice lense for close up detail shooting.

Significant step up in macro image quality but included clamp is fiddly to use
This is definitely another level above the various inexpensive clip-on lenses available for mobile phones. Clearly aimed at the more professional phone videographer and photographer, this is quite a large and hefty glass and metal lens unit with 3 elements designed for high quality close-up photography with your smartphone.Supplied in a hard-shell foam lined zip case, inside you get the lens with silicone lens covers on both optical surfaces, a clamp-on T-mount metal adapter for your phone, a soft polishing cloth and simple instruction guide.The lens itself weighs 140g and the T-mount adapter adds another 40g so it's quite weighty on the front-top of the phone. Whilst the supplied adapter kind of works, it's rather nerve-wracking to use and doesn't really fit the iPhone 15 Pro Max comfortably. The clamp has a rubber padded thumbscrew which is meant to clamp against the top corner of your phone screen, whilst the T-mount apertures fit over the existing phone lenses.I must admit feeling quite nervous about tightening the supplied clamp on my phone screen glass, even with a screen protector. There is a rubber pad to protect the screen, but the rest of the clamp is metal and could easily scratch the outer case or camera lenses of your phone.Furthermore because of the 3 cameras on my phone, I wasn't able to fit the mount apertures flush over the phone lenses. Smallrig do a phone cage case which I would definitely want to use with this lens, especially for more regular use. For my phone at least the clamp is just too fiddly and risky, it also tends to move when you twist lock the lens in place - I would worry about the lens falling off during use.Given I wasn't able to mount the lens completely flush on the phone cameras I expect this will affect image quality slightly towards the edges. Another issue using the clamp is that is covers the top right corner of the screen, making it impossible to access some features of phone apps.Despite the challenges of attaching the lens though, I managed to take a few excellent macro photos with it. The image quality is definitely a step up from using the built-in macro on the phone, with nice bokeh and pin-sharp detail. Optically the lens has a magnification of 1:3, a field of view of 36 degrees and minimum focusing distance 40-70mm.In summary a significant step up from the macro mode built into smartphones. With a proper cage I can see this being a fantastic step-up for phone macro photography and videography. I appreciate having the included clamp to try out the lens, it's just not ideal for my phone. Very high quality lens constructions and definitely worth the price.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max which has got a macro mode so I was a little skeptical about the benefit this lens has to offer; however, upon connecting, I could see massive difference in the quality of the photos taken.The lens came very well packed to avoid any damage during transit. It has got a clamp-on T mount adapter to attach the lens on the phone. There is a sturdy zip case included which makes carrying the lens and connector easy.The adapter looks bit flimsy but having said that, I can say that the lens definitely does the job .The complete unit is bit heavy, so you do need to hold your phone properly to provide stability while taking a picture.Overall it a very good lens and provides fabulous results.Hope you find this review helpful.
