CWF Was The Same Thing And It Was The Best Thing On The Market Hands Down !!

A GREAT product and really lasts. Not at ALL like earlier CWF products from Flood. This new formulation UV5 really lasts and gives the Cedar tone a much deeper and slightly darker color. It will go over older formulations of Flood CWF products. Must never be used on previously used oil based products. This is a MAJOR improvement by Flood.

This color Cedar is not the same as the Flood stain UV5. — it’s more light brown.

My order came vey well packaged and secured so the cans would not leak. I refinished a wall and flower area. It beads the water and is a perfect finish.

I built a new redwood deck last year and I spent big money on the best clear heartwood redwood materials that I could find. My paint dealer recommended this Flood product for staining the deck. It's been less than a year and the stain is already failing and coming off of the wood in several areas. It's really disappointing to think that I now need to strip and restain the entire deck. I will never buy a Flood product again! BTW, I am a contractor with years of experience building and staining decks and I followed the instructions to the letter and got miserable results.

Especially in the mountains, or any climate really, I don't see why people would use anything else. Best wood finish on the market.
