This is a fun set of six wavy candles that are longer than I first thought. The candles come like any other party/birthday candles in a box with basic instruction and safety information on the back and are very fun to use. They come in their holders already and the candle holders are much longer than the typical birthday candle holders I’m used to using. This is good as the candles themselves are much longer/taller than your traditional birthday candles and the holders length keeps the candles well placed and upright inside your cake.The candles themselves are covered with a metallic looking paint. I chose the rose gold colour which looks lovely and you’ll notice right away that they are covered in the paint all the way up to and including the wick. I was initially worried about this as I’d bought some candles in the shape of the words ‘happy birthday’ before from a different brand (Habitat) only to have them burn down incredibly fast with the metallic paint adding to the burning speed, but these candles are different, they don’t burn too quickly despite covered in metallic paint and in fact they create a lovely large flame on the top which takes a long time to burn down for a thin birthday candle.There were a few initial sparkler type sparks at the beginning of lighting this (which looked impressive but was probably not intentional), but after that it was a good burning candle and with the length of them you can afford to take a while to blow them out. I love the wavy design, it doesn’t interfere with the burning at all and just makes them look very nice and fun. Overall very pleased with these! :)

I got these candles for birthdays. I don’t have any upcoming birthdays until June so they will not be used until then.However, saying that, the colour of the candles are a lovely rose gold colours which look a bit more professional and unique to ordinary candles - it looks like more effort has been put in.Likewise, the curves of the candles again make it look more groovy and unique.I would recommend these to others.

A set of metallic gold candles with a unique, wavy design. Each box contains 6 tall candles, measured approx. 12cm. It is easy to use and burns well. Ideal for special occasions including birthdays, weddings and anniversary celebrations.

These are a new (at least to me) design of cake candles. They are really long and a little twisty in a sophisticated gold colour. They would look particularly good nestled in with some decorations which have some height above the top of the cake, like those decorative balls or balloons you can get.They lit easily which is always handy. As they are long, you could use them again if they have not burnt down too far before they are blown out, but they will look best on the first use.

Wow, these are long (human hand for comparison) and are thicker then the shorter wavy thin ones you see in the supermarket.Coming with reusable candle holders already attached is a nice touch because in the past with the small ones I've broken these fragile things trying to push them in.Lovely candles , and whilst i forgot to take a picture of them lit, the added height and good flame added some elegance to a birthday cake.

These candles are a lovely rose gold colour nice and shiny and burn well a nice different design to I will definitely get a few uses out of these I'm happy

Good for the price of £3.99 at time of this review, nice shiny metallic rose gold, 12cm high candles, when sitting in candle holders they are close to 15.5cm long, the long stem that pushes into the cake is a fraction over 3cm long, candles are 3-4mm thick and come already in their holders, 6 in the pack, safety instructions on back of pack. these candles have a thin coating of colour, they are not rose gold colour all the way through, I have knocked a star off as there are a few chips of colour knocked off and you can see the brown underneath, it's not enough to be significant.
