great set, easy to use and sharp

I'm a fully trained hairstylist and picked up this pack of scissors purely for the razor, which is pretty nearly worth the cost of this set alone. The rest of the kit is okay for students, beginners or at home hairdressers. The scissors are actual razor blades rather than serrated, which is the case with a lot of cheaper scissors. That's good as they'll cut better and can be sharpened, so they should last a lot longer too, though to be fair you get two pairs in here and I'd guess most people buying these will never use them enough to require sharpening. The thinning scissors are fine and again, I've paid nearly the cost of this kit for thinning scissors alone and they've been no better than these. You also get a clip and a comb and they're okay. You might get some use out of them but they're pretty cheap. Overall though as a kit everything is surprisingly decent. Far better than what I used when I was in hair school. The cherry on top would be a little tube of scissor oil, as I did notice that the scissors were a bit stiff and grated a bit, but that's something you could buy separately for cheap I guess. I think it would have been nice to include it as the demographic that's buying these is likely not going to know such stuff even exists. Overall though this is a decent kit. The scissors are a touch heavy but good generally, a nice standard size with decent ergonomics. The thinning scissors are decent and the razor is excellent. It's everything you might need as an at home stylist and would get you going as a student for sure.
