These by far are the best water shoes I’ve ever owned. Not much sand gets in them. I’m on beach vacation now and had another different brand that was terrible and these. I threw the other ones out.

Purchased for using on the beach during a cruise. They we perfect for what I needed...light and compact, but plenty of cushioning to keep the rocks/shells from hurting when you walked on the beach.

Tried them outside our apartments. Work well. Will see for sure with water at the creek mid June. Thank you.

Wore these on our trp through the South Pacific Islands, on coral sand beaches, through coral lagoons, and over volcanic rocks. Great water shoes never came off and protected the soles of my feet and toes well. They look great too with colorful soles and sides. Only possible down side is thar they retained alot of sand even after washing them out. Sand hides in inner soles and lace covers. Would buy again without hesitation.

Perfect for our trip kayaking and swimming from mangrove to the next. Tough enough soles to keep our feet protected. Comfortable enough that we forgot we were wearing anything on our feet

I purchased 4 pair of these, assorted colors.First off, they are "water shoes" and not the Hike Generic; they are of a spandex-type material on top.It took me a while to adjust to them but I'm glad I bought them. I don't have to adjust the elastic ties and they definitely stay on my feet.Because I had Plantar Fasciitis, I did have to use a special insole for my left foot for a few weeks - but today I no longer need any added insoles.This was a good purchase and a great price!

I got these for a trip to the Riviera Maya. I wore them nearly every day. Yes it is like walking barefoot and I loved having them to protect my feet on rocky beaches. Also to walk down to the cenotes where the steps can be slippery. Great for walking and swimming!
