Made in the good old USA, (Vermont). Edlund has been producing high quality kitchen accessories forever. Best known for their knife sharpeners (expensive!) and commercial can openers. This KR 699 unit features a 12" width with a full shirted front and open back. Other models such as the 698 have shortened skirt(s) and the 700 is full skirted unit, both front and rear.These racks are hung on 2 screws to any wall/vertical surface and are NSF (pro commercial kitchen) certified.Good quality stainless protection for your pricey kitchen knives. Keeps knives where you need them and is a lot safer than searching for a particular knife in a drawer....(especially if Freddy Kruger comes to call).There are a lot of copies out there, as well as used and banged up units on websites, but why not get the original...you only have to buy it once. Should the top insert ever wear out or become unserviceable, new parts are available from Edlund Co. 5 Stars!

Love this knife holder it looks great in my kitchen with the rest of my stainless appliances. It holds several knives and was easy to mount on the side of my island so the knives are always easy to access. And I was able to free up a drawer for other items.
