I purchased a wheelchair and the brakes are so hard to engage. I bought this extender hoping it would help and it works beautifully. No more sore hands and I don’t have to reach down to find the brake. They can be pulled off very easily, so I put a couple of strips of duck tape on them to keep them on. they don’t get in my way at all and I see no need to take them off.

I used the product as intended, as a brake handle extender for a wheelchair. The extenders are a simple piece of equipment, but they make life so much easier for my family member who is wheelchair bound. What’s really great is that they are angled in such a manner that they fit through doorways without handing up on the doorframes. This has simplified life greatly. Also the extended handle gives the person in the wheelchair a bit more leverage to apply in setting the brakes on the chair. Well made and durable, I’m so glad we got these!

Work as they should, simple easy design. Do wish they had a set screw or a little insert to help hold tighter on the brake lever, they do tend to come off rather easy when packing the chair up for travel

Bought these for my Mom and they are great. I bought another pair prior that where not curved out like these. These are the perfect length and design. Her wheelchair fits under the table and through doors. These are also so easy to put on. Love them!

These are GREAT! Wish I knew about these 2 years ago when I first started needing a wheelchair. I can't use my right side so reaching across was a pain. But now it is so easy. Awesome product.

The brake handles angle out instead of straight up. I guess it would work for a place that has larger door frames, like a nursing home or hospital. But in a normal home, the handles make it very difficult for my mother to get through.

Fits a little loose but a wrap of electrical tape on brake arm tights it right up.
