Brother DCP-L5510DW Professional 3-in-1 Mono Laser Printer,Print, copy and scan,Wireless,USB 2.0,UK Plug

I needed a good quality, fast laser printer. I also needed a good quality digital scanner which was straightforward to use together with a good quality photocopier with an A4 sheet feeder. After doing my research I decided to buy the Brother MFC-L5750DW from Amazon UK.Criteria No.1 - High quality printed text but at a low day to day running cost together with the facility for high yield toner cartridges. I found that Brother offers the cheapest overall toner cartridges and other consumables around in comparison to Xerox, Samsung, OKI and HP.Criteria No.2 - Well built, robust and reliable. How many of us have seen the ubiquitous Brother laser printer at our local G.P.'s surgery endlessly churning out text ? One of the reviews that I read about the Brother MFC-L5750DW was from a small family accounting business who had several Brother MFC-L5750DW machines endlessly churning out sets of accounts all year round without any major paper jams or other problems.Criteria No. 3 - A good digital scanner that is straightforward to use. The Brother MFC-L5750DW is highly intuitive and straightforward to use. I scanned basic text documents right through to full colour documents such as my passport on to a USB stick plugged directly into the Brother MFC-L5750DW machine itself and via my computer. Excellent, high definition scan quality. More than adequate for a home office environment.Criteria No.4 - 5 Year on-site warranty directly from Brother UK who are based in Manchester.Experience so far : I have had this Brother MFC-L5750DW machine up and running since September 2018. It is used approximately 6 hours every day. To date, I have not even had a minor paper jam with it. You just switch this machine on and it just does its job without any temperamental behaviour, loud noise or whining. It is a compact, well designed and quite machine. It is very easy to live with on a day to day basis. Highly recommended.

I was surprised by the speed and quality of printing. Really recommend. The main feature is that cassette drum is separate.

Well this was frustrating. Someone else had already left a bad (2 star) review for this - which I completely ignored after reading the info in the advert. Humph.Basically, this is a Brother L5000DN printer with a scanner on the top. It DOES NOT have wifi and you cannot print to it with mobile devices, not even with the app unless you can plug it into a wired Ethernet socket which is also on the same network as your wireless devices.You could for example probably plug this directly into the back of you BT home hub and then print "wirelessly" from your home network (untested but I see how that would work).It is not suitable for a University environment or business environment however, not unless you have admin rights over the network and dont mind fiddling with it. You cannot print directly to the printer so you need to be able to allocate an IP address on your wireless network to the wired printer.I would have given it two stars except I also notice that there is no USB lead, no Ethernet lead and and empty "starter" toner cart, so if you want to buy one and actually use it you will also need to order a lead and a toner cart at the same time or you will be stuck.

I was forced to retire my old 1990 Brother laser “workhorse” (which was still going strong) when Brother failed to supply windows 11 drivers. This new Brother is not such a good quality build and is very noisy. It is however extremely fast and has Wi-Fi/2 sided printing. Will it last over 20 years??

Very happy with this printer. No more hassle with injet cartridges drying out! It scans full colour double sided (to pdf etc.) from document feeder and following an additional app installation you can scan to email - which is an amazing feature for the money. Very good printer.

got this for the business and it is absolutely amazing. The only issue I have is when printing duplex, it takes longer to process the job. We got it to save on printing. That objective has definitely been met!

Print quality very good using 100gm paper, it looks good with quality parts and came well packed. Only had a few days so far but very happy with my purchase. I can recommend the "Brother HL-L5200DW Mono Laser Printer"

Der als 'gebraucht' gekaufte Drucker hat bereits rund 20k Ausdrucke hinter sich, und folglich rund 90% seiner Lebenszeit - von lt. den Angaben mind. 200'000 Seiten - noch vor sich. Er kam mit neuer Toner-Kartusche 3480 sowie neuer Trommel.Die lasertypischen Qualität des Ausdrucks bis 1200x1200dpi, und das Äussere des Druckers in 'mid size', sind untadelig. Die Lautstärke empfinde ich als vergleichsweise laut, allerdings der Leistung angemessen. Den in den Einstellungen aufrufbaren, verlangsamenden 'Leise'-Modus habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert.Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis - bei dem bezahlten Gebraucht-Preis von 129.- für einen 40 Seiten/Min Drucker - ist, gerade auch angesichts der geringen Druckkosten pro Seite (kompatible Toner gibt es derzeit ab ca 20.- für 8000 Seiten => 0.25 Cent/Seite bei 5% Abdeckung), sogar auch für das Neugerät, hervorragend.

Une vrai imprimante. Aucun souci a installer marche desuite. Sans installer une multitude de logiciel qui sert à rien.

Ottima stampante con fronte/retro automatico. Veloce a stampare in lan e ottima qualità delle stampe. Discreta capienza di carta e buona durata del toner. Abbastanza facile da installare. Non sempre funziona AirPrint e l'App di Brother per iOS è lenta e macchinosa. Nessun problema per la stampa wireless da pc o mac.Nel complesso, un ottimo prodotto "classico" da ufficio.
