Does the job
Bought for an elderly lady with badly swollen feet and is resident in a care home so not much walking involved. Only had for 2wks so cannot comment on durability. Some review(s) have indicated sole of the sandal can split but would depend on usage conditions. The lady has found it comfortable with the adjustable straps. The sizing was confusing but managed to get the right one first time. As the returns experience on this does not appear to look good on reviews.

Great shoe size 6 UK is Small
Am a 6 uk and the small is perfect just for the unsure ppl about sizes. i had 2 broken pinkys and maybe 5th metatarsal break unsure but no bones protruding so didn't go A&E as they only tell me what i know black sore toes obvs broken. and saved me 5 hours waiting time and there time they would have given a cheaper shoe so bought this one and the shoe is strong sturdy comfy and the top strap cuts to your size and its able to rock and square toe protects the foot so rest ice elevate and painkillers with this shoe should be ok.

Big Foot
Not going to fault the service as arrived next day. The shoe design appeared chunky and Bigger than expected although my foot fitted into it ok.. I had difficulty in walking in it which defeated the object. Returned the same day and refunded.

Non returnable
I ordered this to enable me to walk with a broken toe and other reviews seemed to say this would be appropriate. It isn't. It is more painful to walk in than without but Amazon refuse a return even though I have just tried it on in the house for a few minutes

Helps protect foot well
My 85 y.o. mum broke her foot. This was aggravated when wearing shoes and she had tried bandaging and taping foot but still found it very painful to walk.I surprised her with this and she was very impressed, she said it supported all the right places and could be adjusted so not too tight in wrong places. It let her comfortably walk to shops etc so was a great success. She had banged her foot a few time which was very painful but the boot helped this a lot as the rubber sole stuck out enough to stop her hurting herself further.Reasonably well made, has a go9d grip and should easily last long enough for foot to recover

Great for Support and Protection
After dislocating and breaking a couple toes and consequently being unable to walk without serious pain, I purchased this Vive walking shoe after a recommendation. I didn't hold much hope for it helping, but I was willing to try anything that would allow me to walk upstairs to my bathroom or go to the grocery store with less pain. Seriously, I had tears running down my face from pain when I went to the store before ordering this shoe, and it's not like I was wearing heels or some other ill-thought footwear when I went to pick up milk and fruit! I couldn't stand long enough to cook, really, or even get my mail from the mailbox during this time. Desperate for food a few days after breaking my toes I ordered a pizza. The kind delivery woman could see that I could barely stand to take the box and asked if I was okay, and I told her about my foot. She said "you should be wearing a boot!" I thanked her for the advice, and got on Amazon.com immediately after eating a few slices. Lots of boots to choose from on Amazon, in a wide array of price ranges. Since I had only broken a few toes, I decided a full boot was probably not necessary and narrowed it down to this Vive shoe and another, both of which had good reviews, and decided on the Vive.I purchased the Medium size which states in the description that it fits a US Women's shoe size of 8.5 to 10 I generally wear a US Women's size 8 or 8 1/2 depending on the shoe. As you can see from my uploaded image, the medium fits me just right with about 1/2 inches of room to spare for toe protection while wearing a pair of cushioned but not very thick socks. I recommend that if you wear a US Woman's size above 8 1/2 that you order a large. It may be a little big but you want to protect your toes - you wouldn't believe how many times I've inadvertently bumped my foot into things while going about my business, and this walking shoe saved me from both serious pain and perhaps further damaging my toes.I've only had this walking shoe for about 10 days and have worn it constantly when not sleeping or showering, and I'd wear it in the shower too if I had purchased two so that one would always be dry. It's pretty difficult to shower properly when one foot is basically unusable making one's balance unsteady!Since I had only ordered one shoe, I've been wearing a crocs on my other foot for balance although any shoe with a height of about 1 inch would work, or maybe even an athletic shoe. For me, my fuzz lined crocs shoe works because I can easily walk in them with socks and the height is right while also providing a similar sole feel as the Vive walking shoe. I haven't had any problems with the sole cracking as some reviews have stated, but I'm not really putting the shoe or my foot through the ringer. As I stated, it's been about 10 days of wearing it in the house, out for errands, walking the dog, and while working out daily. I'm super happy with this purchase, and if by some chance it does break before I'm healed I would just order another one at this price point. As some have noted, the straps are quite long. After wearing it for a while, I found a comfortable tightness and cut the straps accordingly. The two lower straps, the one over the toes and the one over the arch, have a piece of velcro that can be removed and replaced where needed. If I had one complaint it would be that the top strap closest to the ankle does not have this removable velcro. I've just been kind of tucking the excess under so that it doesn't snag on things.Overall, I'm super happy with this purchase. Great product!

Comfortable!
I received a shoe from the facility where I had surgery. I had this shoe on Amazon as a backup. I would have to say the quality, comfort and easy to wear was way better than the hospital shoe. I highly recommend it. I wear a size 8 regular not wide foot in women's & ordered a Small. It fits perfectly!
