Quiet Engine
Runs my home very well, and doesn't disturbed my neighbour's due to the quiet engine.

Does not support advertised wattage, CO shield failed in 25 minutes of run time.
This inverter-generator is more of an old school generator. It's loud and big. When running at load it runs at 3600 rpm and mid 80's for decibels, (as measured at 20 feet with a smart phone, so take it what it's worth). The wheels and handle make it very maneuverable and portable. It starts right up and runs well. The problem is it doesn't stay running. In the middle of the driveway 25' from anything the CO shield shuts the machine down. Then to add insult to injury it won't run a 2000 watt water heater and a 1000 watt RV A/C unit at the same time. That is barely over half of what it rated. Rated for 5250 at run and 6500 to start. Champion has been helpful as they are sending a new CO shield and inverter board. Let's hope it will fix it. Still doesn't fix that it is much louder than advertised. Not much I can do about that...

Emergency Power System for my home
This generator was purchased for back up power for my home. This runs my well, furnace, kitchen, select electrical outlets and lights. It has a variable engine and ramps up when needed automatically. It’s not as loud as a regular generator or as quiet as a more expensive generator. I would recommend this generator to anyone who wants a back up system that won’t break the bank.

Annoying CO Sensor keeps shutting down Generator
Generator only used outside in breezy conditions with muffler pointed away from the wind.Yet CO Sensor kept shutting down the Generator every 10 Minutes.So, I was forced to do research and bypass this "nonsense" horrible annoying CO sensor.Only after bypassing this idiotic sensor, I now actually have a running generator.Shame on you - Champion manufacturer.Also the pull start cable keeps tangling up.I have to gently pull on it two or three times to unravel it before being able to fully pull it.One of the 120V receptacle breakers keeps tripping even with nothing plugged it.This means that I cannot plug anything into that receptacle until I repair or replace it.Lastly, this Generator is not as quiet as advertised.
