The cost of groceries these days is a lot and its looking cheaper to get a bag of potatoes to make fries at home than it is to buy frozen French fries. I love French fries. I love potatoes. We're not afraid of carbs in this house, carbs are actually a good energy source. I just don't always want to have to cut a whole potato, it takes too long, and the pieces come out odd shaped when I do. This potato slicer gives me back my time and perfectly shaped fries. I appreciate that it's easy to put together and doesn't take up a lot of space. It cleans easy too. Just a helpful note: the first time I tried it, I got halfway into slicing the potato and it was stuck, the potato was starting to get pushed at an angle so the top couldn't hit the potato flat. Once I adjusted the potato I was able to finish pushing it all the way down. My plan is to slice a few potatoes and then get out my food saver to stock my chest freezer. I'm feeling less stressed about this plan since the slicer makes it go faster. I won't be in the kitchen for an hour now. 100% quality of life product.

This is a really good product. I had issues when I first got it because it came with one of the blades already in the plastic bin and I was having troubles getting it out. After looking at the troubleshooting video, I figured out that you have to twist the top in order to get the blade out. I hope this helps someone. It also cut my potatoes perfectly like French fries.

NOOOO!!! I was so excited to receive this. The first time I tried it out, I used it the way it was setup. Changed nothing. The 2 piece top had the wedge slice installed. Worked great! Yay. I did good, right? This morning I tried to put in the dicing blade. Much to my immense disappointment I discovered that the engineering was off. The two parts won't twist together. I spent about 40 minutes trying all the different parts and the only ones that would twist were the original pieces that came in the set up. I am not going to return it - too much trouble for me - but I just wanted to keep others from the same disappointment.

I bought this as a gift for my sister who cuts up a lot of potatoes and vegetables and she wasn't impressed. The videos make it look like it's easy to use but it was more complicated than that. It seemed odd to me that the vegetable gets sliced on the top and not in the actual container. She won't use it so I had to return it, which they did make it easy to return. On a good note it appeared to be well built, just too complicated to use.

I use this to chop onions and make fries with it and its so easy to use. The different sizes are color coded so you know you are using the right set for the size you want. Easy to clean and very durable I've dropped it a couple times already and not a single Crack to he seen very strong plastic. If you are looking for something to make fries quickly this is it!

A must have for making homemade fries! Very easy to use and has a good design. I've used this for almost a year now and is very durable. Has an ok storage capacity, good for about 2 potatoes then you'd have to clear it. Very happy with this.
