This is amazing album. In this year for sure, and maybe in few last years the best synth-electro pop album. The great electro pop names like la roux, kylie, cut copy, frankmusik etc. are far behind from this master piece. Buy it!

Inspired but no mere copyists, The Golden Filter get 3 * and 1/2 actually, due to the lack of a soaring, hit value track or two. This is sturdy 1980s synth-pop with mid-tempos and a chanteuse softly whispering on top. It is rather hard to tell the tunes apart as they are all rather good if mostly subdued.
