It does exactly what it claims. Hume is soft and thick, but easy to rub in. It vanishes quickly. It's much safer and kinder to your skin than the drugstore products. It feels fine on my skin and reduces chafing. The Desert Bloom scent is lovely and very light. Alas. It's really expensive for a 2 ounce tube, more expensive per ounce than that higely advertised brand and much much more than the drugstore brands. I wish it came in a larger tube, but I will grit my teeth and pay for the tiny tube. If you can afford it, buy it!NOTE: This is NOT an antiperspirant, designed to keep you dry. It's a deodorant, which reduces sweaty smells

I wish this deodorant weren’t so pricey-thus only 4 stars. That being said, it does work great for me, and looks like the “tube” is holding out; I’ve been using my first one for about 3 weeks now, and I do have a lot left. I have tried several brands, and none of them have worked as well as Hume. I was surprised that it actually does well as an anti-perperspirant. I always look for natural ingredients and this one fits into that category. The deodorant is an amber-ish translucent color that glides on easily. I have not had any staining on clothing. The fragrances are nice and smell clean rather than chemically infused. I have been using aluminum free deodorant for several years. If you have never used aluminum free, it takes a few weeks for your underarms to adapt to it, so it may seem like it’s not working very well. Give it a few weeks, with application a couple of times/day, and then judge whether the product is working for you or not. I recommend Hume.

I’m sorry I was very very disappointed. I did a comparison. To Lume and Hume .. and the Lume won !! It keeps you dry and you do not smell like BO!!

I am a hot, sweaty, and stinky individual. I live in Hawaii with high humidity and have a stressful job, so I get lovely stress sweat. I am also overweight and have many lovely creases that get stinky.I love the idea of Lume/Mando, whole body cream deodorant that is safe for all your areas. However, the main active ingredient in Lume/Mando is lactic acid, which is itchy on my sensitive skin. It also has a base smell that I really don’t like.Hume has all the deodorizing and even sweat reducing that Lume/Mando has plus comforting, anti-chaffing and none of the itchiness and sensitizing! It is truly unscented, so you could use cologne, perfume, or other scented products without interference!I will be stocking up on this, my new fave. Highly recommend for my fellow stinkies! Haha.

Love the original stick deodorant from Hume, but I was looking for something more travel friendly. This cream/balm version is great to transfer into a smaller container for a short trip in my 311 TSA bag, and I love the Desert Bloom scent. The balm is thick, but rubs into the skin without much issue, and doesn't leave residue on clothes. No irritation/itching from the ingredients, which made me happy. It doesn't last quite as long as the stick formula and it's pricier than other natural deodorants, but it's something I'll keep on hand for traveling/short trips to stay fresh.

I got the coconut sent and it made me smell after a few days and not in a good way. The first day I used it I thought it was ok. It smelt good when I put it on (I tried it for a week since I payed so much I didn’t want it to go to waste) but my opinion quickly changed when I could start smelling my body oder and it was not pleasant. I’ve heard good things about this brand and read alot of good reviews so I thought I’d try it but it just did not work for me. Everybodys body chemistry is different so I guess it’s just trial and error. Also it’s a bit pricey for such a little bottle. I’m going to have to try something different

I work with the elderly and they have a tendency to keep their homes very hot all year round, and that always causes me to melt. I bought this to try to help with keeping me feeling fresh and no odors. I wasn’t sure this would come close to working due to the excessive heat I’m in daily, but it’s fantastic! I stayed dry, it went on smooth, no mess, didn’t stain my clothes, has a very light scent. I keep it in my purse now so I have it for any type of perspiration emergency!

TLDR: great alternative to natural stick deodorants (better for sensitive underarms and provides more / better coverage)I have been using natural deodorants for years now and it was pretty hard for me to find one that didn't irritate my underarms. even with the brands that don't give me rash/bumps, over time with prolonged use, my skin develops sensitivities so I usually have to rotate between brands.I heard that Hume came out with this all body deo and that it was made with different and even more gentle ingredients from their regular deo so I decided to give it a try! I use a small amount of this on my underarms every day now and I am so pleased with the results. the consistency is great and it doesn't feel slimey or weird to apply to my underarms. on top of that, i think it works better than natural deos because it's a bit thicker so it provides more coverage. I usually have to reapply my natural deo sticks throughout the day but with this product, it gives me good coverage all day long (and this is during the thick of summer in LA) !
