Great speed test results
I was concerned that such an inexpensive device would not perform at the full 1 Gbps speeds, but it does!A TCP speed test on my LAN -- going through this 1 Gbps switch -- is expected to obtain 949 Mbps of throughput (a little less than 1 Gbps due to Ethernet/TCP framing overhead) -- and that is exactly what I obtained.Very happy with the results.

Worked!
If you only using the one port make sure it's on poe1.

Usable 3 Port Gigabit Switch with 1-port Data & POE Input, POE Pass-Through to 2 Other Ports
As another reviewer "Mr_D" has written, this is no high quality build. The LED is obscured, connectors are imprecisely tight fitting, no instructions are included, and this product has a small officious "mystery" slide switch that is operable to shut off POE power feed-through from the "input" port (to the two "output" ports of this switch/injector).The main use for this specially configured 3 port 1 gbps LAN switch is to forward data and POE from a single ("upstream"//input) POE port to 2 different devices that both require POE. Thus it is a way of adding an additional POE port to a preexisting router or switch port, providing that the original port can supply POE power. This device has no power supply, and it adds only 1 additional POE port by dividing and sharing the power- just as the Mr_D review has already explained in detail. This device works ok for its intended purpose, provided that the preexisiting "upstream" port that sources the power and input can supply enough POE power to support both of the loads connected to the 2 output ports on this device (usually will be ok for very low cost ethernet surveillance cams since they require relatively little power).Summary: device works, but neither a high quality build nor a well-considered design.
