DJI Mavic Air Part 1 Intelligent Flight Battery - Black - CP.PT.00000119.01

This is definitely a DJI OEM battery. It's exactly like the one that came with my Mavic Air (see my review photo). My first flight with it was 18 minutes non stop flying. Some hovering at 300 feet (during a high wind warning) and some sport mode high speed passes down low. When I landed, I still had 4 minutes of battery left. Pretty much exactly the run time that DJI says you'll get. What more can you ask for?

This is a genuine, quality battery that is an official DJI product. At first I was kind of unsure if it was DJI, or an imitation because it didn't have any reviews on it yet. I ordered two, and was happy to see that they are genuine DJI Mavic Air Intelligent Flight Batteries. When I purchased them, they cost a little less than the DJI website, and they were expected to ship to me in 4-5 business days. That was slightly quicker than DJI, so I decided to give them a try. It turned out that I received them in two business days, less time than was expected, and I received them with the rest of my order from Amazon.When I first unboxed these batteries, I noticed that the packaging and the stickers on the batteries were the exact same, so that put me at ease more knowing that I was getting the real deal. After removing them, I put them on the charger. The first battery charged in 53 minutes, the second battery took 55 minutes to a full charge. When inserting them into my Mavic Air, I got 17 minutes of flight time with one, and 14 minutes flight time with the other. I was flying in very windy conditions, and I was in sport mode almost the entire time on the second battery. These times were consistent with the battery that came with my Mavic Air.With the excellent pricing, and the fast shipping, I will definitely purchase batteries from this seller again.

Much cheaper than the factory battery. It fit good but doesn't quite have the "gas-tank" time of the original battery. Let's face it...we all wanted to fly or Mavic's for 1/2 hour, or at least 20 to 25 minutes on the factory battery. I only got about 15 to 18 minutes, flying time, from the factory (probably my take-off prep time + flying style?). This battery, in the same conditions, only last about 12-15 minutes for me. So, I use this battery for pre-flight prep, calibration, and other house-keeping stuff and then make a short flight. This allows my factory batteries to tag-in and give me more fly time. Good to have around, but not my primary battery source.

I'm afraid this review isn't going to cover a lot of details, however it may answer some possible concerns buyers may have.1) This is a DJI product.2) Assuming you currently have a Mavic Air and are ordering an extra battery, you should know how this battery should perform.3) This battery arrived in DJI packaging and as far as I can tell is a DJI product.I've since used it several times and it performs as it should. I had no reservations purchasing this battery.

First of all, it's important to note that DJI "Intelligent" batteries already have a reputation for being problematic, and DJI software has locked me out of an opportunity to fly when it shouldn't have, so the blame here is DJI's notion of what is "intelligent" and not a problem with the vendor. Both batteries I ordered arrived dead, and would not charge. The "intelligent" part of this battery has them slowly discharging at all times, and when they go completely dead and stay that way for too long (like in warehouse storage,) it kills them. Or if they are stored in conditions too hot... So ordering brand new ones is a crap shoot. Amazon replaced these quickly and the ones I received worked fine - I noticed they were still 20% charged on arrival. Good luck!

Geniune DJI Mavic Air batteries! I purchased 2 of them and I tested each one out this afternoon. They both Works great! The shipping was very fast too. 2 Thumbs Up!

I ran the serial number with DJI and it is in fact a genuine battery. Keep in mind that you need to update the software in it before you can use it which requires an internet connection and takes a few minutes; so consider getting it done before taking the battery on the field. I'm very happy with the purchase.

YOu've got room for 4 batteries in your flymore case... and a fourth slot on the battery charger -- might as well fill it with one of these.

For those that are asking if this is a genuine product due to the misleading info and the incorrect spelling in the product title here are the pictures as proof, the battery is charging at the minute and I will edit this review once I have a chance to test the battery in flight.Edit : 6th August 2020.For peace of mind for other Customers I bought another two of these batteries and they arrived today (from Italy) and they are perfectly fine, genuine and come complete in all correct and original sealed packaging.

Bought this battery to add another one to my collection although I already had three batteries there is no harm in having an extras as you can never have too many batteries. These batteries really are good value internally the micro processor keeps track of the batteries exceptionally well, Even being able to tell you how many times the battery has been used and recharged this information can be really useful as it helps you rotate your battery usage so not to rely constantly on the same couple of batteries and hence shortening their lives.At Half the price of some of the other DJI batteries for there other models they are also exceptionally good value.On average I get between 15 and 18 minutes flight time per battery which is really good.

This is the original battery from DJI for the Mavic Air.It works as described - 18minutes (approx) depending on flying conditions. It has a smart discharge feature than ensures that it discharges if not in use for a while. This is useful to know as it'll heat up when discharging (to get rid of energy).I usually get around 12-5 minutes from each battery and 2-3minutes are taken off for take off and return.

Item is faulty, it charged ok , used it to about 30% when I put it on to charge the middle two of the four indicator lights are just permanently on, tried turning it off obviously but they stay on whether it's charging or not being used.. frustrating! The other battery that came with the Mavic Air is working perfectly ok .. Now to work out how Ty o do a return!

No ones fault but I would have thought a test on the battrie by Jessops before sending wasting every ones time and money would have been prudent.
