Save your money
Worked great for the first week or so I had it, noticed the sound quality was getting scratchier and scratchier til it was only worth using for about 10 minutes before any kind of music became indecypherable. Had my mechanic double check to make sure everything was wired correctly (Has been operating a bike shop for twenty plus years), Go to crank my bike the other day and smell something off and then I see wisps of smoke coming from beneath my seat. The supplied wiring burned through it's insulation. Very disappointing for the price, take my advice save your money and get something better

You get what you pay for, but this gives a little more
Installed on a '07 Kawasaki Vulcan 900. Easy install, vulcans have 2 pre wired accessory wires already so it was plug and play. I installed it vertically over the bars with only what came in the kit. Yes, I could have made it cleaner looking or tougher with bullet plating and barbedwire , but I am making a honest review. I have a large windscreen, stock pipes. City cruising, you can hear it clearly, sound has little bass but the cost of the set up should tell you that. Gets damn loud if you want, but pretty high pitched and treble, but do-able. On the highway with a screen, it's definetly hearable cranked up, but with the lack of good bass, not the best quality.. But, the fm works great, hooked to my phone in a snap with blue tooth, when I cruise the hills of colorado, I listen to all my favs and have zero gripes , especially for the price point. I've washed the bike twice with it, not directly blasting it with the hose, but works still so thats good. Worth a shot until you pay 600 for a full system.

CAUTION WHEN PURCHASING
This is a good looking unit, and I am sure it sounds good, but I will probably never know. I can find NO ONE in the Vegas market that will install this for me.....Unfortunately as bikes have evolved my ability to do my own work has lagged. After looking at the instructions, and checking how it needs to be installed I realized I was out of my league. Harley will not touch it, they do not seem to care about customer service anyway in the Vegas Market, and 3 other stereo place refuse to install it.I have tried to locate a place for over 30 days due to setting appointments and driving the metro area in the heat and it is to late for me to return it (yes we people living here sweat too!).I cannot share the sound quality because I simply do not know....great looking unit, seems simple to install but hey in my 60's I am getting more simple....was really looking forward to having this on board.

Radio is good, mounting system is terrible.
My wife bought this for me for my birthday. The radio itself actually works pretty decently. The Bluetooth connects well, radio works (antenna isn't the best), and I didn't test the auxiliary because I won't use it. The sound is good, a little tin sounding, but really pretty decent. It was loud enough to hear it fine at 70MPH on my cruiser with a windshield but I imagine it wouldn't work well without a windshield. I wired into my horn wire, and then red on positive and green on negative, this worked good to have my radio on when I turn the key only so that it isn't drawing juice from the battery as much. The Bad: The mounting system and brackets are terrible. This would work a lot better if they had a mounting system that went around the speaker at the two indents and didn't have the two mounting bars on the side. The included hardware is an ugly alloy that looks like crap next to chrome.I ended up making my own brackets. I got a chrome bar, cut it in half, drilled holes, and attached to the bars with two small risers, bought chrome bolts and nuts. I probably had $40-$50 in making some decent brackets and mounting system for it.Overall, it is worth it to save money from buying a much more expensive version. If GoHawk was to revamp their brackets with something chrome and stronger, I'd happily buy again and even pay more for it.

Needs bass
1st of all, hook this to your ignition NOT your battery or you will regret it, trust me 😒 Sound could use some bass, it has very high treble but overall sound is decent. Can hear on highway with full face helmet at 80mph. Very easy to connect to phone via bluetooth. Radio signal not as great as I like. Overall yes, it's worth the $. Would buy again.

Not loud at all!
I had such high hope for this product but it isn’t loud AT ALL. I’m in the highway and can’t hear anything.

This is the perfect audio sound system for my Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic
It took me longer to remove my old system than it did to figure out how to install the new GoHawk on my motorcycle. The instructions are clear and simple to understand. The installation is easy. I was concerned that the wiring might be an issue but it was as easy as can be! In my case I ran the wires under my instrument console, under the leather bra on the gas tank and directly to the battery. It's a very clean installation. My old system had separate speakers so it was not nearly as neat and clean of an install as this GoHawk. The sound is very good for a system in this price range. I had no trouble hearing the music at speeds of 65-70. Above 70 the wind and road noise begin to drown out the sound, even at maximum volume. My old system was the same way. For the money, it's the go to system in my opinion.
