Very effective
I thought these strips were easy to use from the get go. As long as your eyelids are clean and dry they stick really well and I found they stayed put for hours. I was able to put moisturiser over the top of them and it didn’t make them budge one bit. I reckon they could be noticeable if someone looked at you close up with your eyes closed but in normal use, ie just blinking, they’re just not visible. I have very pale skin so I’m not sure if they would be more visible on darker skin. The one thing you do have to be careful with is making sure the position is right before it touches your eyelid as they stick like billio! I found the best position is the middle of the strip across the most creased bit of the eyelid. If you get it right the improvement looks really natural. The assorted sizes are good if, like me, you have one eye droopier than the other as you can use a larger size on the “bad” eye for better symmetry. Overall would recommend and will definitely use them again.

Absolute trash
Thought I would try the ones that are on the avert even though they are 3 times the price! You get what you pay for right! or so I thought , I have nothing good to say about this product if I could give it zero star I would. I don't know how they sell it. At first you think hmm it done its job to a degree that's after you have wasted 2 or 3 sets trying to get them on correctly so they match. From a distance you can't see them about 1metre away with your eyes open as soon as uou blink you can see them and they look even worse with eyeshadow i used both liquid and powder shadow had to take them straight off, My friend tried them in case she liked them and she said exactly the same. Don't waste you money wish I could return them but unfortunately I've wasted most of them trying to get it right !!!

Definitely worked!
I thought I'd write a review for these because a fair number of reviewers are saying that they don't work and I know that puts people off. They do work! I have very heavy hooded eyes where the skin of my top lid sits on my eyelashes. It's not just wrinkley lids. I've attached a before photo and you can see that my left eye is worse than my right but only slightly, both are pretty bad.The after photo does show me with a bit of mascara on but I hope you can see the difference between the two.I bought the assortment pack just to see what would be best for me. I've used the thinner ones just for the daytime but I use the wider ones for when I go out wearing more make-up. They aren't visible as long as you put them on correctly although I don't wear eyeshadow over them, I've not managed to get the knack of doing that. The photos are me using the 5mm ones. You do have to make sure you get them in the correct place for you but the most important thing is to get them the same on both sides - this is difficult and takes practice - I wasted quite a few tapes trying to get it right. The reason I've only given them 4 stars is the price; if I were using them every day, this would be a very expensive way of getting rid of hooded eyes. I'm going to try some of the cheaper options to see if they work as well. But, if cost is no problem, these definitely work as long as your eyelids are dry and free from oil and you take the time to get them placed correctly.

Eyelid droop
These little cosmetic stick on do actually help a little. Sceptical I was but it does raise the eyelid when two are placed higher up on the lid other than middle or lower as advised. A little fiddly to put on by yourself so having someone else do is much better. Using the plastic tweezers is fine but have patience. Pull off from either end and you can help train the eyelid whilst asleep so no problem sleeping with them on. A little bit pricey for what they are but they have no competition in this market. Neat packaging and arrived on time. You can at least give them a go.

That they lifted my sacking eye lids
Hard to cover with eye shadow, but definitely do the job of lifting the eye

Lids by Design are great!
This is the first time I have used a product like this before. I tried the smallest size in the mixed pack I bought, to start with, just to test I’m ok wearing them & I didn’t want to look TOO different. They have definitely lifted my eyelids, not so much that I look strange, but enough to make me look like I did approx 15 years ago. They are quite sticky so even after repositioning them a couple of times, they still stuck on well & have lasted for 3 days so far. Will try with make up over them next time. I intend to wear smallest ones in the week & move up to a bigger size for going out & looking more glam. I’m 63 years old & these look great. And u can’t see them at all! Recommended.

AVOID if you have sensitive eyes
I didn’t realise I had sensitive eyes until I tried these! Within 24hrs of having a quick 5 minute “play” with these my eyes were watering, stinging & really uncomfortable. Hoping it would calm down, I didn’t do anything for a couple of days then I’ve woken up with puffy eyes to the point my lashes are almost invisible & my lids are really sore & I can see one lower eye bag out of my eye! I tried Optrex to soothe them, didn’t work so got an opticians appointment who confirmed it would’ve been the adhesive & £60 later I’ve got drops to start with & I’m to go back if not helped, in a few days time. Expensive mistake!! If I could give 0 starts I would!

Overpriced
If wearing with no eyeshadow, this product works well, however, after a few hours of wear the adhesive starts to fail. I did attempt to wear eyeshadow. I purchased an eye primer (not oil based) but after a short while, the product started to lift and curl up. Also the eyeshadow did not sit well on the product material. I am disappointed because I now realise that the item is heavily overpriced. If you want to start using this type of product, buy a cheaper brand to practice on.
