I had the opportunity to try this product on my curly hair (3C curls, spirals, and waves). I was prepared to take the time that other reviewers mentioned would be needed to go through the entire process. It took me about 3.5 hours and I have hair that goes past my shoulders when curly and to my chest when straightened.The process is long and I followed it diligently which I think is key to getting the desired results. I even went through small sections of my hair with a straightener for a minimum of 8 passes. It was tedious and I was still skeptical about the results. And since you don't know how the hair will turn out after putting in all the time and effort it felt like a bit of a gamble.As the last step, I washed my hair and put conditioner on it and could immediately feel that the texture of my hair changed. Usually when wet, my hair still has curl - they're elongated but still there. After using the product, going through the process, my hair when wet was straight. I let it air dry because at this point I didn't have it in me to blow dry my hair after 3.5 hours. And WOW - it was slightly wavy but mostly straight - definitely would be easy to have blow dried my hair straight with the results that I got.I've had the Brazilian Blowout done professionally and the results with the DIY kit were nearly the same. I say "nearly" only because I could see the benefit of having someone else help with doing this as the back of the hair can be tough to make sure you've gotten enough product on it and you've properly passed through it with a straightener. I'm really happy with the results and when I air dry it looks like my hair has natural beach waves (which is what I remember when I got it professionally done).It takes a bit of time and effort, but is worth it if you want to avoid spending $$$ at the salon. As others have mentioned, when you straighten with the product there is smoke and a smell. I didn't notice the smell until I was closeer to my face, but saw the smoke during every pass. Do this in a well ventilated area.

I am VERY happy with this product!! I recently just came out of wearing braids for about 8 months and did not want to put a relaxer in my hair. I initially washed and flat ironed my hair, but with Texas heat coupled with humidity, it was instantly fizzy. I remembered getting a keratin treatment many moons ago and figured I loved it then maybe it’ll work this time and YES INDEED it did!! I will be using this product moving forward. It took me all day to do just because my hair is thick, but I’m highly pleased with the outcome. I was in rain today and it was HOT as hell and no fizz whatsoever. Super happy I stumbled upon this and at a great price bc going to the salon would have easily cost me a few hundred bucks. Included pics of my hair immediately after braids about a week ago, and my hair now (did my keratin treatment on 06/29, and pic of outcome was taken on 06/30).

I don’t typically write reviews, however this product deserves one!. This really works, my hair has never been this silky, soft and manageable. I was very skeptical at first, so I waited a few days to determined if it would work, typically humidity makes my straight hair puffy, yet I have been doing yard work, my toddler got my hair wet and with minimal heat it went right back to being beautifully straight. The only downside side is the work you have to put in to get results, I spent 4 hours from beginning to end, but I don’t even mind I love how my hair turned out and I really hope it lasts the full 12 weeks!

Last year I tried at home Brazilian blowout. So I chose to use this one this time, as I find out the last one had formaldehyde. This has the usual process- wash hair good, blow dry, and apply the treatment. All good an easy! And to my surprise, it did not have much smell when it came to blowing the treatment dry! The one I had last year might as well been mustard gas. My only quarrel is even with combing out excess- this took forever to get dry. I don’t think I even got it fully dry in spots but I was am not going to go another hour- I already was at 2 hours. I straightened, washed twice, conditioned, blow dried one final time. Results are great!!!! Was very worth it. My hair is wavy/ kind of curly. I’m a white girl but my hair can not be tamed, smoothed, does not straighten well. This product has my hair looking good, I feel put together for once in my life. My Hair never looks good. But this did the trick! I will do it again!

This stuff is pure magic!I’ll admit it—I was super skeptical. My hair is more stubborn than a toddler at bedtime! Between the grays popping in and my naturally wavy hair doing its own thing (with a mild attitude of its own, thank you very much), I wasn’t holding my breath. But wow! No harsh chemicals, no funky smell, and best of all—it actually worked! My hair is now straight, smooth, and strutting its stuff. Total game-changer! P.S. I recently colored my hair, and it had no effect on that!
