in an emergency situation i would rather have this than nothing at all.
Pros:1) in and emergency situation you wont go hungry2) decent starter kit3)very long shelf life of foodCons:1) cheap water bottle filter.2) bland food.3) food is mostly soups.3) no secondary water purification option.4) the grill is thin metal and is very cheaply made.Summary: i would only get this product if you want to have something stored away that you don't have to worry about checking every five years. If you wanted you could spend about the same amount but get better quality items if you put a kit like this together.

its cool.
its comes with everything needed for camping or a just in case emergency bucket. all items seem well made. i gave it four stars instead of five because most of the food is soups. i would of liked some more hearty foods.

Emergency "Prep"
Not bad, easy to get prepared. Good value. Easy to transport. Needs Water. Recommend one for each family member. good start for emergency situations.

Convenient bucket
I can't rate the food content as I haven't yet tried any. Everything is packaged to be carried in the bucket, but the Fire Starter odor is so strong, the plastic water bottle and metal pan stink. The food is packaged in a medium to light weight mylar and I'm wondering if the strong odor from the Fire Starter has affected the taste. (bucket is about 4-5 years old) I will be opening the food packets and if still edible, I'll repack in new mylar and try to separately package the Fire Starter and fit everything back in the bucket. Better to know now instead of in an emergency.

Fabulous Deal
Great "Grab and Run Kit" for a good price! Awesome supplies even if you can't afford one of those $400 emergency kits.
