First, the positives - what these bars have going for them is the very decent size, which makes for a filling post-workout or between-meals healthier snack. They're substantial, have a nice chewy (rather than crunchy) texture thanks to the crispie-style mix, and they pack a very decent 20g of protein per bar.In terms of taste, I just found them OK, and they're not my favourites in the Optimum Nutrition range. They certainly look the part, like drizzled flapjacks. And they are extremely sweet, and that sweetness does taste a little artificial. There's a definite 'health bar' feel to this where the other varieties manage to taste more 'treat', although that could just be personal taste (after all, marshmallow isn't the most subtle or natural flavour).You can't fault the bar on nutritional content, though, like all the ON products - they're solid, and make for a great addition to a managed, high-protein diet. Top marks for content as always - and if you like marshmallow, they could be right up your street (though personally I'll stick to the Chocolate Sea Salt Crunch).

I'm a fan of Optimum Nutrition, who always put out good quality products - whether that is bars or powders or drinks - I'm very trusting of their brand.These bars look great once you open them up - like a premium chocolate bar.You get a solid 20grams protein per bar, but they do come loaded with 6.3grams of fat and 5grams of saturated fat, which is pretty considerable and worth checking against your macros if you track that kind of thing.Unfortunately for me, the bars have an American Chocolate taste, which I'm quite sensitive to. For people who do have the same sensitivity as me, you can end up getting a weird sour/earthy taste when you eat these and it's not really something you can just overlook for the nutritional benefits either.That said, I gave them to a friend who has been really enjoying them and doesn't experience the same weird tastes as me... so it's certainly based on the individual.

Love the marshmallow taste.I go to gym and used to always find it hard to get some sort of snack afterwards to keep me going till mealtime plus something with protein in. Then a friend recommended this product.Love it!The only downside the amount of sugar. As much as I like the taste, at times it is a tad too sweet for me.If you are not into sugary bars, then it's not the product for you, but otherwise, it's a great protein bar and keeps one going after a good workout session.Would definitely recommend.

I have bought the marshmallow flavour a few times but it can be a hit or a miss. Sometimes they are like a normal bar but frequently the appear to be off slightly? Almost very hard / stale.
