These fire starters were such a great product. Definitely a lot easier to carry around and pack rather than those large hefty starter logs we’re so used to buying that come in the paper bag.These were so convenient to have on hand and started the fires so quickly and efficiently.

Easy to use and works fast for a good even fire

I bought these to make it easy to get my new tabletop fire pit to get started. These light immediately and it works like a charm. Will buy more after I use the little fire pit more often.

Item worked as described.Easy to handle and start.Left out overnight in 15 degree weather. Woke up the next morning to get the camp fire started noticed i had left these out and figured they were ruined, I was wrong.They started up easily and work as describedI would purchase again.

A nice big fire takes a while to get going. Ideally you need a large bed of hot coals to keep it warm and burning for long periods of time.If you're patient and understand this, you really only need 1 fire starter to start a fire properly. The fire will start small, but with a burn time of 8-10 minutes for these fire starters it's more than enough.I had 3 pieces of wood and I started a small fire in my fire pit. 1 log on the bottom, 2 logs on top. It started slow, but after 10-15 minutes it was hot enough to sustain itself and I just kept adding 1 piece of wood at a time to keep my ambiance going.This product is fairly cheap, but making my own petroleum jelly cotton balls are even cheaper. Because it's so small, I bring both anyways. Bottom line is this product is worth the purchase.
