Cole Haan Men's Branson Boot

I really like these shoes, they look good, are true to size and are very comfortable. However, what some other reviewers are saying about the shoes being dangerous when wet is absolutely true. Thankfully, it is relatively dry were I live, so it's not a big issue. Nut I can imagine the extereme slipperiness being a total deal breaker for lots of people.

I bought these for winter to have a stylish boot to wear with jeans and they do not disappoint.Price is a bit pricey but looks to be very well made. I've had the chance on different occasions to test the waterproofness of the boot and it works as expected. I would not hesitate to recommend this boot

As many have stated. These are very slippery on smooth surfaces... grocery stores, laminated floors, bathroom tile... So be careful. Outside on cement or tarmac or soil they are fine. Otherwise they provide nice support and are stylish.

I ordered a size 9. I got a size 9 boots, but it's not a size 9. It's more like a size 10. I wear size 9 on all boot. It doesn't matter the brand. I owned Cole Haan boots before & size 9 fits well. These boot are to big to be size 9.

These are the best shoes that I own, and I don't mind forking out lots of money for footwear either. I have bad feet (very flat, little arch support) so comfortable shoes are a must for me. These are very comfortable and I can wear them all day, as long as it isn't too warm outside. They are holding up very well and look as good as they did when I bought them months ago.

I have been a Cole Haan costumer for at least 20 years and have owned numerous pairs of shoes from them, especially boots. This time I was very disappointed and found a MAJOR problem with these boots: the very slippery sole. I don’t know if other people encountered the same problem or if maybe I got a defective pair, but I considered them a real safety hazard. I received the boots right when the northeast was being hit by some major snow storms, so I put it to use right away. Walking on snow was fine, but the minute I got indoors the problem started. New York City subways have non-slippery tiles/floors. Well, not with these boots. Just as an example, there is an underground passage with a small ramp that connects the 7 train to the A, E and C lines. I cross that passage on a daily basis and never, ever had any problems with the floor being slippery. As I was wearing these boots, the situation got so bad that I had to hold unto the handrail with both hands to be able to climb the ramp. Walking on granite or marble floors was like walking on ice. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I first thought that the problem could be that the soles were too new and decided to give it another try the next day. Big mistake. I almost fell numerous times before I finally decided to go back home and change shoes. I couldn’t even donate them to a homeless person or someone in need because of the very real possibility of causing injury to someone. So, after using them only twice, to the trash they went. Very upsetting because they were not cheap. I give them a one star because they are comfortable and look great but, at least the pair I got, unwearable.

These are THE most comfortable pair of Cole Haan shoes I've ever owned! Most of this brand is OK (compared to some much higher priced shoes I own). This pair is EXCEPTIONAL! I have never worn a pair of shoes that my feet feel this good in after 14 hours of work.

All my non-athletic shoes are Cole Haan's. I do not work for the company or am compensated every time I explain how great their shoes are. These boots are comfortable. I cannot wait for this summer to wear them.
