This is exactly what I was looking for
I needed a black paint to paint the bases for my miniatures. I struggled through other black paints where I needed 2 or 3 coats. This paint is thick and smooth and allows for a single coat on flat surfaces. It's perfect.

Really nice paints for wargaming
I recently made the transition to Vallejo paints and they're absolutely wonderful. Super high pigment, they thin well, flow great. Couldn't be happier.

Good basic black
Like all Vallejo paints, this is a good quality paint that has the pigment density and consistency that is typical of Vallejo paints. While it is black, it is not exceptionally dark like black 3.0. Just a standard black acrylic paint.

Very happy gamer
My son plays Warhammer and this is essential in his color palette. He swears by this particular color and we have a very hard time finding it locally. I purchased 3 so it will last a while.

good paint, just be warned that unlike the description ...
good paint, just be warned that unlike the description the paint has a glossy finish. Works fine for me since I'm painting black leather, but if you need matte you should look elsewhere. The only problem I have is that it doesn't take well to the primer I'm using which is also a bit glossy so I have to do an undercoat of vallejo german grey to get it to stick.
