Somewhat thin but good price and it fit much better than more expensive shades for my 2013 Volvo XC60
The Amazon price for this shade is far superior than what I could find locally in stores. So I decided to try this product in Jumbo size based upon the overall good reviews. I have been using this product now for close to 10 months. Overall this product when it is first opened appears to be on the cheaper side of sun shades and I understand where others state they are disappointed about the thinness of the material. I tried to be optimistic about using it so I decided to try it and see if it worked. While the material is thin it does the job and that is what I require from a sun shade. It may not block 100% of my window but it blocks a good 80% of the sun from coming in so my car remains much cooler than if I used no shade at all. So for the small price I think it offers good value. So far this shade is not showing signs of age or deterioration. It is very easy to position every morning and because it is very light it easily stays in place when the sun shades are turned down to lock it into place against the windshield. It does take some coordination to close it properly but once you do it for a week or so it becomes second nature as long as you do not overthink it. Then it has an elastic band to lock it into the small circle footprint when it is folded. I can easily put it under my seat or on the side of it with it taking only minimal space when it is not in use. Is this product cheaply made? Yes. Does it keep the car cooler when it is in place? Yes. Is it easy to use? Yes. Has it lasted 10 months without signs of wear? Yes. So to me all of those Yes responses make this a 4 star product. If the product was thicker and just a little better made it would be a 5 star product and I believe would keep your car even cooler. For this price though strongly recommend you give it a try.

Sun shield
I had a set of similar shield with my Tundra and they great. I originally purchased them when working at White Sands and they helped a lot. These units are similar but I did feel the construction was better than my previous shield. The silver side seemed to be more reflective and there were some reinforcement panels on the rear that made it a tad more rugged. The only reason I dropped it to 4 stars was that advertised size was a half inch short in both measurements. It is advertised as 31" x 28" and I found it to be 30.5" x 27.5". This does not affect the width on my windshield since the windshield measures a 28" x 55". This means I have a slight gap at the top, but I still have about 95% coverage. I also found that while all other Toyota models were listed as "fit", but the Highlander was missing. If it fits a Tundra and a Sequoia, it surely should have the Highlander listed.I will measure the heat difference and report back. The packing box claims a cooling of 40 degrees. Time will tell.

Easy to fold, sticks in windshield without visors, does the job.
I purchased these sun shades for the California heat. It does a good job of keeping the car cool but with the windows closed the car still got relatively warm. It easily fit my car windshield and is much easier to use than the accordion style sun shades, an added bonus is that I do not have use my sun visors to keep these in place - they stay there by virtue of the wire running around its perimeter and by resting against my rearview mirror. The shades have instructions printed on little tags to help with folding them up, and after a couple of tries I've become adept at putting it away. I have a semi-permanent windshield mount for my cellphone right in the middle of my windshield and the two piece design is able to accommodate the mount and block the sunlight and heat without any issue. I would recommend it!

Doesn't block much light
As I understand it, this product is either made of silver fabric or mylar. I understood that when I ordered these, but I hoped that ordering two sets would yield at least one mylar set (it didn't), and I thought the cloth ones would be satisfactory. They're not. This shade appears to be the same model as my nearly 10-year-old set, but it is MUCH less effective at blocking light and heat. Since I'm too lazy to return one or both sets of shades, I've taken to putting a third shade in the windshield for improved opacity, and a fourth shade in one of the side windows. This marks a significant improvement over doing without, but I'm definitely not pleased with this product. Also, I have no idea what the black stripes are for. They are slightly shiny, but I'd rather have good reflective fabric across the whole outside surface.Pros:- Good size- Folds easily (better than the old set)- When I try retrofitting these with better fabric, I won't feel bad about tearing up something that already worksCons:- Doesn't do what it's supposed to do.

Keep your car cool and protected
These fit my 2014 Mazda3 reasonably well. I put them in vertically (they are rectangular) because horizontally they aren't tall enough for the mirrors to hold them in place. With this config. they cover 99% of the windshield (a small triangle in the bottom center where they meet is exposed.I find that they do keep the car significantly cooler, as well as protecting the black interior materials from sun damage. They fold out very easily and quickly (best to have the passenger seat vacant or do it out your car door so there is room for them to open) and are flexible enough to easily maneuver into position. The fold up is the only part needing to get used to, it isn't challenging once you have the right wrist motion figured out. It is all in the wrists. But once you have it down they will fold up just fine and you won't even really need to use the attached elastic band to keep them folded - I throw mine around the back seats without it and they never opened up unexpectedly.
