Chaco Women's Playa Pro Loop Sandal

Love Chaco. These are a bit heavy for my liking but I still wear them for the arch support.

I love my Chacos...I have many pair. These have the Chaco arch support, as expected. The toe is extremely easy to adjust, which I really like.

They were too wide. I had to return them.

Love these Chaco sandals. Adjustable toe ribbon is a fun addition.

The shoe is pretty darn close to the perfect size, however I am receiving blisters on my feet. This is very upsetting. I wish I returned the shoes before I wore them.

They worked well on a recent two week trip to Mexico. As for sizing, I wear a 10.5 sneaker, and got these in a 10. Note that I thought they were a little too tight the first time I slipped my foot into them (with a pang of "oh no"), but after wearing them around for an hour or so they loosened up a wee bit and are now perfect. In fact, you don't want your sandal strap to be loose because that leads to your foot slipping in it, which is bad because you need all the control possible over something that doesn't lace up tight over your foot like a sneaker.Now, I thought that my sandal would have a Vibram sole. My brother has a pair of leather Chacos and his does, and I just thought that for $55 or whatever they would all have one. But looking at the bottom, I see no Vibram logo, and thus it doesn't look like the sandal has such a sole. That said, my Chaco flip model has been very comfortable and shock absorbing nonetheless. Of course, as other reviews point out, these aren't big cushy-squishy-comfort-sandals, but rather more of a functional design. Yet after wearing if for two weeks straight I didn't get any of those ball-of-your-foot blisters that you can sometimes get when those other types of cushy-foam sandals get compressed to concrete and you have to throw them out.I am really happy with my purchase.
