Cannot fault theseThe problem with oven gloves is that the standard variety offer so little tactile feedback when handling hot items – and offer so little grip that there is always the ever present danger of dropping a pan and getting scalded.These ticked all my requirements when I was searching for suitable gloves – they fit well – do not have a liner than wants to make the gloves end up looking like a herniated bowel whenever you take them off if you hand was even just a tiny amount damp when you put them on (difficult to Not do in a kitchen when cooking!They provide plenty of tactile feedback – plenty of heat protection – ALLOW you to use your fingers and also have a decent amount of grip due to the silicone as well..In short every kitchen should have oven gloves that are like this…

These gloves are well made but designed for people with small fingers. The middle finger of the glove is 8cm long and my fingers are around 10cm long. Whilst the gloves do give they do feel a little restricted.Also I am not sure how true the heat resistance of these gloves are (HEAT RESISTANCE UP TO 300-500℃)I was baking sourdough bread in a dutch oven pot in my oven with the temperature turned up to 250℃. When I took the pot out of the oven my hands could feel the heat and it was hot. Not painful but I could definitely feel the heat. If you are wanting to use these any higher than 250-300℃ I would be careful.

Worth every penny. I have tested them on a saucepan that had been on the fire for over an hour and with both hands on the side it took 5 minutes before it started to get hot and then another 5 before it started to become slightly uncomfortable and when I took them off they were unmarked they are also great on very cold things too. I would highly recommend these.

I use my Morsø 71 cast iron Barbecue grill that weighs around 12.5 Kg. The grill grate height is adjustable, as well as can swing out of the way. You really need reliable heat protection when this is fired up with white hot charcoal. I put these gloves to the test and I was really impressed with the thermal protection and importantly the grip. I found I was able to manipulate the moving parts of the barbecue comfortably and with ease, The fitting is generous, but importantly provides protection for both wrists, and some lower arms.After repeated use I examined the gloves for heat damage but they were perfect and as new. The gloves were lined for comfort, I chose the Orange colour simply for ease of locating both of them should they get separated.I thoroughly trust these gloves to offer the thermal protection and grip needed to safely use my heavy cast iron barbecue.

They are far too big/too wide for me to use safely as I cannot grip saucepan lids, corners of baking trays properly, there is too much room especially around the palm area which mean the glove moves as you grip. I don't doubt they would be very good in respect of heat resistance but unfortunately I will have to buy an alternative as I am not confident that I won't drop something.

Wow these are great. Complete control over things i take out of the oven and really temp resistant. Really tested them when the baffle of my Woodburner dropped at a temp of 300*C . Had to grab it and put it back. My woodburner gloves burnt my fingers. These gloves were ace and kept the heat at bay so so well. Would felt buy again.

I am really pleased with these. The only slight disadvantage is that they are slightly too large. I take a size 7.5 in gloves. This is not a major problem and they are fine for my husband. I feel much more confident handling hot dishes from the oven when wearing these and would recommend them to anyone unless they have really small hands.

I am beyond impressed with these mitts. Yes they do feel a bit glunky initially when you put them on but you can pick up anything hot and the gloves arent actually restrictive at all - you get a full range of movement (I should mention I have extremely small baby hands too, so if I can manage wearing them you'll all be fine). I also cannot feel anything other than a gentle lukewarmth wearing these, which I was super impressed with. I've tried several cloth oven mitts before these and they all seem to be utterly rubbish these days, hence trying the silicone ones - they're absolutely fabulous and well worth the money.
