does not have ingredients on bottle. as far as I know it doesn't have silicones in it.dries fast and leaves no filmon whatever surface you put it on. I like it. been using it since high school 1970

Q: Will this work on vinyl, leather or pleather car seats. I see it say upholstery, but I'm afraid of sitting on it.

Previous comments/conversations identify the many uses/applications with positive results - Vinyl, leather "OR" pleather car seats.I started by identifying I used Nu Vinyl on my vinyl boat seats.My application was liberal and did not wipe vinyl off seats, but rather allowed Nu Vinyl to soak in.There was never and residue on clothes during next boat outing.Result was vinyl seats remained soft and pliable along with lasting the life of the boat.I use Nu Vinyl on 40/60 leather/cloth car seats.I apply a liberal amount of Nu Vinyl on a cloth and rub on leather/cloth seats.I have driven to the store after application and no residue on clothing.My simple solution - Try applying Nu Vinyl somewhere and rub a clothing item where you applied Nu Vinyl.

Q: Color is rubbing off our vinyl straps on patio chairs. Will NuVinyl seal the color so that it does not rub off?

Unfortunately I went ahead and used it. It appears to do absolutely nothing as far as appearance. And I hold out no hope that it will stop the color transfer from the vinyl straps to clothing.
