I got this on a whim never having tried paper quilling before. I got a beginner’s quilling kit on Amazon to accompany this and my first attempt is shown in the photograph along with a picture of what it should look like. I got the other supplies- earring wires, jump rings, clear glue and fixative (which is optional) from Amazon as well. I had a set of jewellery pliers already. Overall, I was quite pleased with this and have already started on a second pair of earrings in the same style but different colour. Other designs in the book also look doable with many suitable for an absolute beginner like me.
