My first impression is that it's a very nice item. The construction is reassuringly 'overbuilt' and the leverage is really good without the spacing between the handles being awkward. I love the matt finish, not just for the looks but also because it makes the handles easier to grip. I must say I would possible have made the indentation on the handle the other way around though so your thumb is into a concave when operating rather than onto a convex (this is very minor though, grip is not a problem). The edges seem very sharp but I guess only time will tell in terms of longevity, hopefully the rust that kills the cheaper versions won't be a problem though as long as I keep them clean.Yes I was hesitant to spend £20 on them but, whilst they are a significant amount more expensive in terms of percentage, in real money it is not a lot more to pay for an item which looks and feels so much nicer to use.

I love these! They they're so strong & sleek! They give a sharp cut without leaving any sharp edges, which is brilliant. My partner has also tried them out and he says he won't use any other clippers now! Highly recommended!

These are good clippers and for 2 good quality nail clippers in a matching carry case for £20, I think they are also good value. Are they amazingly high quality with some kind of high tech design that no-one else has. Ahhh... no. They are well designed and manufactured in a Chinese factory with reasonably good quality control. Funnily enough, I bought these for myself around my birthday and my wife separately ordered me up a German made "manicure" type set in a custom made leather case as a birthday present. Yes, the clippers in those are better made (i.e. perfect), but both sets cut my nails perfectly well. And I did mention... £20, didn't I?

Not as good as the advertising suggests. The clipper doesn't slide across the nail as you cut it ( like my previous cheaper one did) you have you snip then release - which is awkward and doesn't ensure a smooth finish. Maybe steel needs to be smoother or with time it will become smoother>Feels good holding in the hand but think it needs some work on a better metal which grips onto the nail after every snip so you maintain that momentum and flow as you cut across the nail.

These are lovely nail clippers and compared to all I have used previously are way out in front. They are well made, the cutting edges line up perfectly and feel good in your hand.They are expensive but I doubt I will ever have to buy another set every again. No more Christmas cracker nail clippers!

These nail clippers are no better than cheaper ones, in fact as one uses them they scratch immediately on top of the clipper. I'd say they are very expensive for what they are, as has been stated in other reviews save your money, and buy cheaper ones. Also not as advertised there is no nailfile as per the Amazon description and photographs. I will return for a refund there is much better value on the market.

The Cutters are very nice to look at, very easy to use and very sharp, all in all I think we have made an excellent choice in purchasing them. The Clyppi fit nicely in your hand and feel really sturdy when using them, I would recommend these clippers to anyone.

I purchased a set of two clippers in 2015 and duly registered for the lifetime guarantee. The large toe nail clippers stopped working around 2017. I remembered the guarantee in 2019 but attempts to contact the company fail. Not much of a guarantee.The large clipper stopped working after two years, the other, smaller clipper is still working well in 2019.
