When I bought these, I didn't expect amazing ear plugs but what turned up was pretty disappointing. Feel really cheap. In hindsight I probably wouldn't pay £2 for them

these worked a treat for my son .

Poor product.
Provide an unbalanced mix, cutting out high frequencies very harshly.They do a good job of cutting out the harmful low frequencies but are useless for a performing musician as they give a very poor representation of a live mix.
