Proactiv Instant Fix Concealer

I found it difficult to get good coverage - only the light colour is suitable for my skin type and I felt it just accentuated the fact that I am now getting wrinkles under my eyes! I won't be using this again, it's a shame as some of the Proactiv products are very good in terms of skin care.

I am a huge fan of Proactiv cleansing products but was a little disappointed with this Instant Fix Concealer product.I don't wear a lot of make up therefore the product felt very heavy once applied and highlighted the imperfections on my skin rather than hiding them.The option of colours did give the flexibility of use in summer and winter but for me the lightest and darkest tones are a complete waste as i would never need to use them.

Update; The texture depends what you use it over / under. Over a dryish foundation (Estee Lauder double wear) it works fine, or with powder over the top. I find that on its own it doesn't stay put well and feels a little greasy. Also would be nice to have a choice of shade combinations , maybe a lighter shade compact for winter because I haven't really used the right-side shades, even in the summer we've had!

Works fine if you just want a bit of concealer. However, when in contact with other makeup it clumps and won't allow for smooth coverage. Is oily and doesn't last particularly long.

This is a very compact compact of concealer with 4 different shades and a small applicator included.As you can expect, the case comes with a clear mirror to help apply this on the move and is small enough to easily fit in a side pocket of a handbag or small coat pocket if needed. The concealer itself looks quite dark in the case, but there is a lighter quarter that can be blended with the other colours and on the skin they actually all look lighter than in the case, anyway.The set is designed to work with the Proactiv 3-Step System to cleanse the face and manage acne outbreaks,with this concealer being a final way to disguise any outbreaks after using the other steps. It works well in general, though, to hide blemishes, too, and seems to last the whole day, so full marks to this product, even if using it without the other Proactiv products.

This is a very small compact of concealer with a mirror containing 4 different shades and a small applicator brush included (note the brush does not fit in the compact). Some of the shades look very dark but appear lighter when applied to the skin. I found it easy to apply and blend in. I used it under my eyes and to cover some red blotches and it worked well and lasted the day. It did not irritate my skin.Compared to other, cheaper concealer products I have, I do not think this product performed any better. At the current price of £24.99 I think this product is very expensive for such a small compact of concealer and it would not be something I would pay that sort of money for.
