LG LP156WH2(TL)(QB) Replacement LAPTOP LCD SCREEN 15.6" WXGA HD LED backlight (or compatible screen like LP156WH4 (TL)(A1) )

I cracked my screen almost a year ago and being the cheapskate that I am, I had just lived with it...until now! Crack continued to spider-web across my screen and I was having to minimize my screen and move it away from the cracks to be able to read anything. Was not a big deal to me because I rarely use my laptop any longer since I got my iphone Well now I decided to go back to school and I am going to NEED my laptop again! Was considering buying a new one because that's what you would do right? I mean...replacing the screen probably will cost nearly as much as buying a whole new computer, right? WRONG. But even though you can buy a replacement screen for 49-59 bucks, you still have to have someone do the work right??? WRONG. Thank-you YouTube! I have never replaced a screen before, I am NOT a computer person BUT, this was EASY!! SERIOUSLY people, don't pay some Geek Squad or computer repair shop to do this!! It was WAY EASY! Do you know what a cross tip screwdriver looks like? Do you know how to use one? If so, YOU can do this YOURSELF!! This supplier was great. My screen arrived 2 days early, was packaged properly for the kind of fragile content inside, and works PERFECTLY!! Its like a brand new laptop all over again!!

This is the exact model screen that originally came with my laptop. I was given the laptop, but with very noticeable, deep scratches on the screen. Finally tired of dealing with them I found this and installed it myself. I am 100% satisfied with this product and happy about the price. Sure it would be nice to have a higher resolution, but the laptop just wasn't built to have one. Like I say, for what it is, it is perfect.UPDATE: From 5 stars to 4One interesting thing I noticed after the install was that when I tried to dim the display back-lights they would get brighter, and when I tried to brighten them they would dim. I was using the same SSD and OS that was installed with the original display and thought maybe it was a new hardware recognition bug. Then I did a fresh install of a different OS and I am getting the same problem. I can live with this and find it funny - but it does knock it down a star and I thought others should know about it.

Essentially this display works, it definitely isn't the same quality as the original. Viewing angle is not so good and it bleeds quite a bit of light, so as long as a bright image is on, it looks fine, but once darker things show on the screen, there is perceptible haze on the screen with blacks never being completely black. Did however save a $400 laptop that otherwise would have gone to recycle since the original screen broke.

My laptop screen was cracked. I bought a new laptop for around $700 because the guy at Best Buy said it would not be worth it to have them fix it. Then I went to google to see what it would for me to do it myself. It looked doable and I thought it would be worth less than $100 to try. I ordered the screen. It came in a timely manner. It took about an hour to remove the old screen and to replace it with the new one. It was fun. I took the $700 laptop back for a refund. Thanks for good quality and timely service.

I have been using HP Pavilion DV6t-4000 laptop for the last 2 years. Recently screen broke and I ordered this screen to replace the broken screen. This doesn't look like the original one.I've installed the new screen and started the laptop, it was working as my original one. Then I kept charging for my laptop and it immediately turned OFF the laptop. I tried turning ON after taking out the charger, there is something burn't on the motherboard (might be a small IC).You may see the IC below that turned into Silver after burning.[...]Now when I start the laptop, I can see power LED, Capslock LED blinks for less than a second, also I can hear the Fan sound for less than a second and the laptop turns OFF immediately. I can see nothing on the screen.I'm going to return the package and ask the seller to fix my motherboard.

I bought this to replace a cracked screen in a Compaq Presario CQ56-115DX. Installed fine and works fine. It doesn't get 5 starts because the product title is a little misleading, since this is a generic screen and not an LG screen.

Worked perfectly for the application I needed it for. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because it had one dead pixel but once it was up and running there was no issue and you couldn't even see it. Thank you very much!

bought this to replace the cracked screen on my toshiba. I replaced it and it didn't work at first, I would get this white screen. I reopened the computer and noticed that the connector had loosened up when I put the frame back together.I placed it back in and it worked great. No dead pixels and image quality is as good as the screen it came with. I'm very happy. I hope it stays like this for a long time.
