Gatco 4681 Channel Wall Mount 18" Towel Bar, 18 Inch, Chrome

Love this towel bar!! It’s awesome! Only thing is... make sure you measure well, because there isn’t much play room for a minute mistake. I had to sort of force mine on the anchors, as they were a smidge too close together, but thank goodness it popped on. Also, the red plastic anchor sink tool broke while installing the last anchor. No biggie, I just sunk it in further w a small hammer... just be careful with that piece. I’m so happy I bought this though... looks classy, modern, it’s heavy weight metal, and is so sturdy! It’s not going anywhere! My boyfriend is going to be impressed I installed this on my own. Definitely worth the price! If you like the look, don’t hesitate to buy... I also bought some matching glass shelves to hang above this bar, I’ll update with another pic when I’m done.

We got new plumbing fixtures for our master bathroom and needed two towel bars with rounded mountings. This bar worked perfectly. It was a bit of a struggle to get the tiny little set screw in with the tiny little Allen wrench that came with it, but installation wasn't too difficult. The chrome matches the Hansgrohe fixtures nicely. The bar is very sturdy and secure in the mounting, so there's no jiggle. In addition, the price was very reasonable. I'm sure I could have spent a lot more for a Hansgrohe or Kholer bar. This one is every bit as nice, for far less money.

Was looking for a towel bar and going to my local hardware store the prices were just unbelievably high. Searched Amazon and found a few but I purchased this was due to it being heavy, and great reviews.I've installed other towel bars and none of them were as heavy and thick as this one is. And no issues with any of the hardware. Installed in under 30 minutes and looks great!

Gastco 4681, 18" Channel Towel Bar - Chromepoor designthese are mounted with tiny set screws. one of the threads on the unit itself is faulty so the set screw won't go in. The one that will go in isn't truly tight and it wiggles.Now I have to see if they'll send me a replacement bar as I already have the mounting hardware installed on my wall using the large wall anchors that come with the product, (5/16" holes). I will update this when I hear if Amazon will make good on this.UPDATE: Amazon is making good on this and sending me a replacement bar. Thank you, Amazon!

Nice simple modern design and finish (for architects and designer types on a tight budget). Brass construction, fairly sturdy; good value for money from what I can tell since I just installed them. Gatco provides accessories for a typical condition (i.e. 1/2" gypsum board anchors and screws, and allen key for the escutcheons), but, as was my case, I had to get different anchors and fasteners for my unique wall condition.

These are excellent quality, very solid towel bars. They are very stylish, with a great sleek modern look, and of excellent manufacturing quality. I have no fear of these rusting or bending under normal use. They are a giant PITA to install with the tiny little set screw and allen wrench, but so are all towel bars. These however, will not loosen over time, as some of the lesser quality bars do. I highly recommend the Gatco line of bath products.

These are solid metal with a great finish and were easy to install. I like it that the bar doesn't spin around or rattle. I couldn't find anything I was crazy about at the big box stores so I ordered these in 18-inch. I can hang two folded (in half) hand towels on them.

Useless ; Never stays aligned even after having it professionally installed; Ordered three of them for different bathrooms; All three are hanging at an angle.

This is our second home we have used the Gatco towel bars and knobs. I love the design.

High quality finish, solid. Clean lines.

It is a very solidly built towel bar. Looks good in my bathroom.
