The supplier kindly sent me a review sample for evaluation, the opinions expressed here are entirely my ownI have never used make-up brushes were the bristles were horizontal like these ones, it is unique and works really well. I especially like the larger of the brushes and the smallest one that looks like a toothbrush. They are great for many different aspects of putting make-up on, from foundation to powder blusher. The bristles are very soft and gentle against your skin. The plastic black handles are easy to hold and the ideal size. They are slightly flexible and perfect for purpose.You can expect to receive a black drawstring bag and the 8 different size brushes are individually wrapped in plastic. The different uses of these brushes range from using them as an eye shadow brush, lip & brow brush, contouring or blush brush to name a few. The largest brush is 16cm long x 3.5cm wide (2.5cm depth of top of the brush). Each one has the Emax Design name printed onto the handles.For me personally I think the brushes are particularly perfect for around the nose area as I struggle to put foundation on correctly using a regular make-up brush and the style of these brushes are ideal.I have added photographs.

The brushes aren't especially large, and the handles are flexible and quite bendy which can make the application of makeup a little tricky. The heads themselves though are large enough to hold though so it's not really much of an issue.The brushes hold so much product it's unbelievable! The density of the bristles (which are incredibly soft, by the way) is remarkable and so the amount of liquid makeup and powder makeup is staggering! Blending is made so easy, and the way that it blends product onto the skin means that layers can be made as sheer and light or as built-up and full coverage as you need.Because of the angle of the brush head in relation to the handle I've found these brushes unsuitable for eyeshadow but every other use they are perfect for, especially highlighting and contouring. The flat-headed circular brush is my new favourite tool to use for lipstick, too.The price is amazing both in terms of the number of brushes you get and in terms of the high quality of the product. They've cut my makeup routine down by 30 minutes per day, if not more, and are so soft and pleasant to use, and I've been recommending them to friends! Absolutely fabulous, I'd definitely buy them again.Only downside was the packaging was poor, but once I washed the brushes for the first time it didn't even matter!

I bought these brushes after finally trusting all the sponsored reviews that the company paid for people to say but I have to say that they weren't all they said to be.When the package first arrived they were smaller than expected (my fault entirely for not checking size but actually really enjoyed the small size as it gave my small hands a better chance of grip) and I got them out. Brushes are very dense and soft, also heads are very flexible as advertised so no worries about breaking them. Of course I straight away took my make-up off and went to try them out. The largest brush is very good for applying foundation and the second largest great for contour and then the third largest great for concealer. Any smaller than this I have yet to find a use for as the linear brushes do not pick up my eyeshadow or brow products up and leaves a patchy look and then the smallest oval brushes do not work for lipstick (patchy) or eyeshadow (again patchy but also one of the brushes has a rounded edge so hurts your eye to use).After a few uses they were already dirty so lots of cleaning (but to be honest that comes with any brushes) and after a few weeks I started to notice dry patches on my skin (note my skin type was already dry and can be sensitive). The only thing that had changed in my routine was the brushes so I stopped using them and then a few days later the dryness had gone - I think that the density and brush hairs pulled my face about a bit too much.Therefore, I wouldn't recommend these to dry or sensitive skin types but the three largest brushes are really useful and great if it doesn't aggravate your skin. The price is great also.As well as this, EmaxDesign actually contacted me asking to take down this review for a full refund. As I have said in the review I do believe that if you have oily-normal skin which isn't too sensitive these brushes can be good (especially the biggest three) and believe that my review was not entirely negative. Thought I would give these a go for the price I paid and I was very surprised by the size of them! They are tiny, but saying that they get the job done, I'd like to compare them to the Artis brushes one day but they will do for now.

Was really looking forward to usong theses as there a big hit recently but after one use the brush was completely ruined, the brisles are really soft but the minute you add foundation to them they clump together and even if you wash them there never the same.

Amazing brushes. Wish I had bought them sooner! The biggest one is slightly smaller than a golf ball and the smallest is about the size of a 5p coin. Just as good as the Artis in my opinion but a few of the hairs sit above the rest so it can feel quite scratchy if you don't trim them. Make up feels flawless. Thanks for some great brushes!

when the set arrived there were only 2 brushes in the box, when there are clearly (based on description and packaging) intended to be 8. no invoice/paperwork accompanying. it is actually very annoying, as the 2 which arrived are good and as described, but have emailed them to let them know i want fullset to be sent.

I use the brushes in crafting and they are an amazing find. I loved the softness and easy of cleaning.
