I purchased this cover to protect my baby's mattress from bed bugs. When I received it the zipper was pulled apart. Also, when I held the cover material up to the light, there are pin holes of light coming through the material. A bed bug larve can pass through a hole the size of a single stitch of a garment or mattress cover. Therefore, te claim of bed bug protection as stated on this product is unreliable. I am returning this item for full refund and not getting a replacement of the same. It also says it has a locking zipper. The zipper does not lock. Bed bug covers should have a velcro lock over the end of the zipper and this item does not have a velcro flap for the zipper lock. I do not recommend this item.

This is the real deal, it really is one micron. I get a bad allergic reaction to memory foam and latex (break into rash), but I need a nice topper for my back. I'm so glad I found this brand. I can sleep on anything now and I don't have any allergy problems. The low profile 9-inch size is good for mattress toppers, though if they made a 6-inch I would buy that instead.

I love this mattress protector. The bottom and sides are plastic feeling while the top is more smooth like a bed sheet. My daughter’s allergies have definitely improved. I ended up going back to buy a pillow case as well. The mattress cover appears to be waterproof. My toddler daughter had an accident while sleeping and it pooled together on top of the cover. I will say that after having to remove the mattress cover in the middle of the night, I went out and bought a reusable pad in the event of any future accidents. The cover is not like a fitted sheet. Since it zips around and covers the mattress completely, you need to remove the mattress off the bed to remove and put the cover back on. This cover encases the whole mattress. Having to do it while wet and in the middle of the night was a pain. So if you plan to use for a child who is going through potty training, a mattress pad for the top would be great to save yourself some hassle.

My allergies are year long. I try not to take drugs daily because of the side effects. Before I got this cover I was having the worst time sleeping and I was miserable. Obviously this didn't "cure" my allergies, but it definitely improved the quality of my sleep. I have a pillowcase also, that I got before the cover, and it is a dif brand; but both are must haves for people who suffer with bad allergies like I do. Highly recommend!

I needed to buy a mattress cover due to allergies and this fit what I was looking for. It’s not a hard plastic sheet. It’s nice and soft. I suggest you have help when putting it on a king sized mattress though! Lol. Plenty of room for the mattress cover to move because it is not snug to the mattress.

Fairly easy for two people to stand the king mattress up and slide this on, then zip it closed. It was plenty bug for my 16" thick mattress. We have a foam topper that sits on top on this, so there's no issue with it masing crackling noise. Happy with the purchase.

This is like a dense, dense cotton, or a very thin felt. It doesn't crinkle, and seems very sturdy. Easy to put on with 2 people-- doable with one. Slips on then zips on one end. I'd recommend this for anyone living in an apartment with a mattress they don't want to throw away-- even if you have heard nothing about bedbugs in your area. We were told to put it on after plagued with a small bug problem to "lock whoever is left, in-- and keep others out" (The apartment was also sprayed-- this product doesn't fix anything without help). Good precautionary idea and well as a reaction to an infestation.Aug 2012 update:We move across the country with this on our mattress. It's scuffed and a little rough looking, but didn't tear. Zipper still works-- it's holding up very well.

So, far I like the material, because it doesn’t make my bed sheets slide all over the place. This material keeps my sheet in place and I don’t feel any nylon feel, or terry feel under my sheet like I did with Linenspa, and Best Night Rest. I like to feel comfortable on my bedsheets. These fit the bill, for comfort, for me. I also ord the pillow cases, and I like the fact that when you wash them the become softer. So far happy with this purchase. :)

Product met expectations and the customer service exceeded them! Item arrived from overseas in record time and is exactly what I had been looking for. Excellent quality; I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I bought this to be much thicker than my mattress so that it would be easier to put on, however it doesn't even fit the dimensions of queen mattress. And the zipper keeps breaking. Incredibly infuriating product. Save your money, don't buy this.

This is a great product - helps prevent allergy from dust and dust mites, effective 95% of times.
