Small but fantastic
These were bought to replace some rather large and old speakers (Kenwoods) that were so large they needed a stand of their own. Got these as one of the tweeters finally died on them so thought I'd treat myself. Running these either side of a PC screen running through an old Technics amp and CD player - mostly the source is via the PC through a soundblaster external sound card. Sound from CD's is impressive, really nice and clear mid and top range. Clarity is surprising for such a small speaker. My other half (who can't tell the difference between VHS and HD) even commented that the sound was great and repeatedly asks me to play her favorite dross!Don't expect miracles though, this won't fill a large room with spine shuddering bass, but for a small/medium size room where you are going to be sitting reasonably close to them they are excellent, and for the money you really can't go wrong. In the box included the two speakers and two dust covers. Accepts banana plugs or you can unscrew and feed the wire in. No wall mounts, I'm assuming at some point wall mounts were included judging by other reviews.I'd recommend them, especially if you are looking for a small speaker that packs a punch and space is limited. These are my only speakers, they blow away my top spec LG soundbar for volume and clarity (that set me back the best part of £500). Proper Hi-Fi quality for very little money.Quality from PC source is obviously dependant on the quality of the MP3/Video. Watched a few Netflix films and the sound is very decent. HD videos on YouTube sound spot on through these. The voices are very clear, and the treble response is spot on. Not totally blown away by the bass response, it is a closed cabinet and a small cone, so you can't expect miracles on that front, but slightly upping the bass on the amps EQ resolves that and the cones appear happy to take it.Bear in mind these are small. Very small, but that is what I wanted. Mine measure width 13cm, height 22cm, depth 15cm (give or take a MM here and there) The cones are about 9cm across. Understated "M" about the tweeter and Mordaunt-Short is inset above the cone in black so it is not in your face. Blends in nicely with most rooms I'd imagine. Dust covers have a small "M" on the centre at the bottom, again, very understated but classy looking. Deceptively good looking and well built for the money.

Mordaunt Short M10
For the size and price, these speakers are remarkably good. I'm currently using them in a small room fed by a Raspberry Pi with a Justboom Amp hat, pushing out about 15 watts per channel and streaming CD quality music (.flac) from my NAS drives via Volumio. Sound is detailed and musically rounded, with a warmth and depth unexpected from such small enclosures. Bass is not earthshaking but is realistic and full in a small room. Treble is sweet, not shrill, high notes controlled and not obviously clipped. Mid tones are detailed open and expressive. In summary, and ditching the Hi fi cliches, they sound really nice and make listening to music, from a decent source. fun and involving at anything from quiet to quite loud for a surprisingly small price.

Great for the money, but can be bettered by spending a little more
Sturdy made solid pint sized MDF monitor speakers. These have 4” drivers and are not ported, so bass is non existent. These are fine as surround sound speakers or rear set up speakers, where there are others to bring up the presence of lower register listening. These are not very efficient either and although can handle some power, you will need a gutsy amp to drive them effectively. The sound is clear and correct, but doesn’t have the lower end or higher end finesse of more expensive counterparts. For £79 on Richer Sounds you can grab a pair of mission lx1 speakers that I have also owned in the past and these for an extra £20 are the better buy with a better tweeter and rear port that adds some weight to the sound.Great if you are on a budget and want some well made speakers, but if you can afford another £20, there are better alternatives.

Good surround speakers
With speakers that look this stylish whilst also looking cute, they make great surround speakers. Not recommended as 2.0 or 2.1 speakers. The compact size of these speakers makes them ideal for small or odd spaces. The build quality is something to make note of - they are weighty and finished in a high quality charcoal black. The quality is amazing for this price. Highly recommended if you have very limited space. The Micca MB42X might be a better choice here, but they are bigger, more expensive and in the UK they are not available. I'm completely happy with these.

Mordant Short M10
Outstanding speaker in every regard for the price required. What they lack in stature they make up for with their sound appeal.Their weight and build quality is pleasantly surprising. You won't get the bass weight and depth that you can obtain from a high quality floorstander but you will get a decent amount of warmth and character from the bass output by these speakers.Close your eyes and you could be forgiven for thinking that these speakers are actually twice their real size.Understated beauty and perfect for small spaces.

For the price, a steal
I got these over the Mordaunt-Short M20s as I already had an amp and sub, and only needed two satellites for their midrange and tweeters. These fit the bill perfectly and I have no complaints. The bass is lacking, as others have pointed out, however if you are in my position and only require them to complement a full set up, they are rich, clear speakers with a pricetag that's very manageable. If you can afford a little more and these will be your only speakers, maybe go for the M20's instead (or equivalent other brand) as they have a bass port.

Great Value
Bought these instead of a second set of Wharfedale Diamond 9.0 speakers after they jumped up in price. Really can't fault the M10s. Not quite as much oomph compared to the Wharfedales, but they're more compact and deliver more defined sound. A quick adjustment of the base setting was enough to get these performing brilliantly on my TV set up.
