Q: Does this help with hair growth?

Yes I think it does. I rub it into my hair roots and scalp once a week and leave overnight. Only use a small amount. Wash out next day. Hair lovely and soft. If I want my long hair to smell especially nice I rub a pea sized amount between my fingers and wipe them over my ends. Massaging the hair roots helps remove debris and encourages new hair growth, for me anyway. Hope this helps.

Q: Can this be used on a 18month old's dry hair?

I have used this on all four of my daughters from around 1 year old. Just start with a small amount first

Defiantly not you will look like a wet mop! My hair is a bit thin and I just looked like a wet mop
