Great mascara. Easy to separate lashes because of the comb end rather than a brush. Would highly recommend.

So, I've tried probably hundreds of mascaras in all the years I've been wearing make up, and nothing comes close to this one. The formula is fantastic, but the biggest plus for me, and why I keep coming back to it, is the wand - as you can see from my picture, it's a very small comb applicator, rather than a brush. This means it's so simple to apply. With larger brushes on other mascaras I always get the product on my eyelid/waterline/lash line, simply because it's too big. But this little comb applicator negates that issue, it's just so good.It goes on so well, and really lengthens my lashes.I always buy a new one when they are on offer and I really really hope that Maybelline never discontinue this mascara!

The best mascara I’ve had. No flaking, smudges or clumping. It’s not just the formula, but the wand that does it for me. I have long but thin lashes. I apply (comb through with this fantastic wand) to coat the full lash from root to tip. Then I go back again with second coat, this time I only keep it at the root. That’s it. It lengthens and separates the ends while volumising the root giving a beautiful tapering effect. Just what I want. I wish they do this (waterproof one) in browns and blues too. Taking it off could be a problem if you’re NOT using coconut oil. Since, I’ve always used coconut oil as makeup remover (massaging generous amount for 1-2 minutes and then wipe throughly with face tissue), so no problems with removal. Maybe, massaging eyelashes with coconut oil keeps them good too!

great formula, it is indeed waterproof, i went to the beach in the sea and it didn't come off and the wand is great to separate lashes and do your bottom lashes it only smells like rubbing alcohol and is overall great and i recommended

I've tried so many mascaras over the years and ended up buying Maybelline's mascaras because they work so well. But this one is such an improvement on their other mascaras. The brush makes all the difference. Think about it - you have one thin line of eyelashes and manufacturers produce brushes that go entirely round the wand - meaning that most of the mascara on the brush is never used. The other problem with these types of brush is that the brushes that are not used can accidentally coat the eyelid with mascara. That doesn't happen with this mascara since the brush is a one-directional brush which targets only the eyelashes. It means you get through a lot less mascara and don't put it where you don't want it to be. It also is much easier to separate the eyelashes with a precision brush. Now I just have to hope they don't discontinue it because after 35 years, I've finally found the perfect mascara.

PROSThe mascara didn't clump and was easy enough to apply. It lasted throughout the day and didn't smudge at all. It was also easy to remove.CONSIt only provided a slight curl / lift which flattened out a little while later. My lashes weren't any thicker either. I've added pictures immediately after applying to the left eye only so you can see the difference.Overall, I was a little underwhelmed with this mascara as I've seen better results with others. It will do as a daily mascara but I'd choose something else when I want more of an impact.

I’ve used this mascara for years , when I first bought it I was annoyed because it had a comb instead of a brush, I tried it and absolutely loved it , I never get any clumping my lashes look long . They stopped selling it in the stores which is very annoying, I’m so pleased I can still get it here .

Bought this mascara because I'm on the hunt for one that doesn't leave big panda eyes which every mascara except bad gal lash by benefit, does to me. Bought this after a browse and I'm so glad I did!! The brush is weird compared to a conventional mascara but once you use it, it's so good! Catches every lash even the corner ones and lengthens and separates so well! I have a slight lift and tint left by the salon so can't really comment on its lift longevity BUT boy does it stay! Picture taken after a very sweaty 45 minute HIIT session at the gym and no smudge in sight!! I'm so pleased!! Would definitely recommend to anyone!! It also came sealed and bagged which was very reassuring after reading some mascara reviews on here which seem to suggest some are sent out second hand! Not the case here!!
