LEZYNEControl Drive Co2 Bicycle Pump

The first bike ride the day after I received the Lezyne adapter the cycling gods struck and I got a flat. The roadside repair went quickly, the adapter was easy/straightforward to use. This was my first time using a c02 cartridge so I was a little apprehensive, however just ensured the adapter control was closed, the adapter screwed onto cartridge completely, the adapter seated snugly atop the valve and slowly turned the control to release the c02 into the tube and voila !So much easier that using a pump and great to be able to fully inflate my road tire(s) at the roadside. I will still be carrying a pump for that day when the cycling gods are really angry and I run out of cartridges (I plan to pack 2 cartridges).The Lezyne adapter appears to be well made and is really compact and easily carried in my under-seat cycle pack. The sleeve for the c02 cartridge is a snug fit but worked a charm, no frostbite. All in all a great option for getting back up and riding quickly at full pressure.I will update the review if I run into any issues with the durability etc. of the adapter.

Lezyne makes good stuff, and this inflator is no exception. It’s tiny and lightweight at less than 30 grams, but it features an easy to use rotary control valve to regulate delivery. This is an important feature, as I like to add just a few pounds of pressure initially, check that the tire is properly seated on the rim, then open the valve fully to quickly inflate the tire.The valve head seals easily over a presta valve, no leakage. This is the one to buy.

I’ve used a few different CO2 inflators and I like this one best. It has a good open and close valve, and is a press-on fitting. I don’t like inflators with screw-on fittings, as they tend to freeze onto the valve core and remove it when you unscrew the inflator. Lezyne’s press-on fitting never does that.

I got this because I had used one before and was familiar. It works as described, but there are better choices out there that are just as easy to use and are substantially smaller to carry with you. If size is not of concern for you, then this is a great product

Okay....I think I've finally found a lightweight and small CO2 inflator that I love!!. I've gone through approximately six different inflators (several different brands) over the past 3-4 years. This one seemed like a quality product from the minute I pulled it out of it's packaging. It even looks really cool. My biggest problem with the lightweight inflators that I have been getting is that they don't seem to puncture the cartridges fully or they puncture them okay the first time or two and then they stop puncturing the cartridge altogether. That hasn't happened with this one (yet) - I've used it about 4-5 times and it seems to work really well. It's got a really precise adjustable knob that allows to meter how much air is put into the tire/tube - it is easy to use and works better than I thought it would. Overall I am super happy with this inflator

I carry tow of these when I ride my gravel bike and appreciate that they are in my tool bag. Very useful and made well.

Excellent product. Simple but with great build quality, it feels like something you can rely on when you hold it. I like that it uses a very compact but tactile pressure control dial and is slip on for the tire valve. One recent review complained about the logo in the control dial being confusing... Not to sound condescending but that's outlandish. The logo is a teardrop on the face of the control knob. Tightening , or turning in the direction of the narrow side, reduces/stops flow... Indicated by the narrowing to nothing shape. Loosening starts/increases flow, indicated by the wide open high flow looking shape. If they put "on off" as suggested, it would be a far less accurate label since it's not justan on/off valve... the logo brilliantly indicates that the pressure can be controlled on a gradient. Don't blame Lezyne for incompetence.

I've used a lot of different CO2 fillers but this one is absolutely the best. Seals well on the ( presta ) valve and seals well on the CO2 cartridge. The twistable valve for controlling the CO2 flow into the tire works very well and allows good control of the inflation. It also seals completely closed. I've used less than a full cartridge to inflate a tire, closed the valve on the Lezyne filler, and there was still pressure in the cartridge the next day. That's important in case you under-fill your tire, or it's still leaking a bit on your ride home.
