Over a year ago, I switched from blade to electric for the first time in over 60 years. I even shaved with my wife's grandfather's straight razor (once). I chose the Braun 9 series because of their reputation for quality. Switching in a new head on the razor is super easy. The shave is smooth and I have no need to go back to a blade. I have not tried this razor in the shower, but is capable of that. On a trip to France for 2.5 weeks, I did not need to recharge and if I had, the travel case's batteries have a 3 week charge in them. I am sold on the razor and the replacement heads. I did not choose the cheapest offer for the head because comments made me dubious about the origin of the head.

Be careful to order correct head for your Braun model. Easy to install after finding a way to open blister packaging. Prior head was damaged when dropped. I operate a disabled adult home. The owner uses his shaver to shave face and head daily. Accidentally dropped and broke foil and some blades so replacement was a little earlier than 18 months. Excellent electric shaver.

Quality product. Has all the functions you need to shave, trim around ears and cut in side burns.

I finally got this new shaver head for my Braun series 9. They’re supposed to be changed every 18 months but I put it off a few months and that is a big mistake because I was trying to compensate for the not close shave I was getting by applying more pressure. Then one day a few of the blades pushed through the foil and cut my face. I guess I am now resigned to the fact that these complex heads are expensive compared to rotary type blades and the Series 9 is the highest tech head out there which gives a shave as close as a razor at least when new. This replacement head almost seems superior to the original one that came with my shaver when new. Recommended.

I have been using the Braun razor that this product works with for about 7 years. A problem that the user should know is that in time the blade gets worn down and does not shave well. You should change the blade every 9 months or a year for good shaving, This is really easy to do. Of course, you cannot do this if you do not have a spare blade. Ever since I began doing that I have had the minor difficulty when I have when the blade has worn down.

Works with my razor and simple to use. Take off old install new. That's it.

My electric shaver shaves like new again! Much closer shave with the new head/cutter. Great piece, well made and easy to install. A little expensive, but you got to have it. I suggest giving your shaver a thorough cleaning before installing the new head/cutter.

This replaced a head on my two year old series 9. Now it shaves like a new razor. Guess I should have replaced it six months ago. Braun recommends to replace the head after 1 1/2 years, but I was a little late. Noticed it wasn't cutting as close. Love my Series 9, it's a great electric razor and is comfortable to hold.
